Enable students to understand, speak, read and write: by taxi.3. Enable students to understand, speak and read “ How do we go there?”三、教学重难点。To ask students to understand and speak the daily expressions and can use the sentences in their daily life.四、教具准备:课件、录音机、CD-ROM、女孩和海宝的头饰等。五、教学过程:Step1. Greetings and free talk.T: Are you ready? Lets begin our class.Ss: Stand up.T: Good morning, boys and girls.Ss: Good morning, Miss Liu.T: Sit down, please.Ss: Thank you.T: Im your new English teacher today. So I want to know you.Ask students some questions, such as: Whats your name? How old are you? And then T aks Ss : “ Do you want to know more about me? Here I have a rhyme, now listen carefully.” “My name is Annie.Im your teacher today.My best food is hamburger. .My best drink is milk. . My best colour is red.My best friend is Haibao. “Step2.Presentation1. PPT show the the picture of Haibao.T: Look, Haibao is coming!Haibao: Hello, boys and girls!T&Ss: Hello, Haibao! Welcome to our school!T: Boys and girls, we all know that “ Haibao” is the mascot of World Expo 2010 Shanghai China. Hes familar with Shanghai very much. Today i receive a letter from Haibao, lets read the letter together.T: He wants to invite us to visit Shanghai, do you want to go?Ss: Yes!2. Play a game to review the wordsT: What place? Can you see it clearly?Ss: Station/ hospital/ library/ airpot/ theatre.If they do well, I ll give them some presents. 3. T: Thank you, Haibao! Haibao: Lets go to the theatre! (附带声音) T: Great! But how? H: Shall we go to the theatre by bus? T: The bus is coming! Is this bus for the theatre? H: Yes, it is.T: Lets go! T: Im so happy. Ok, this time, Im Haibao.T& one or two students like this and then ask students to make similar dialogues. Have a presetation in two minutes.4. T:You did a very good job! Look at the picture, who are they? Ss: David and Nancy. T: Do you know? Haibao tell me that they are in Shanghai now. They are talking about to visit some places, where are they going? OK, lets watch the cartoon and answer my question: Where are they going?( after watching)T: Have you found the answer? Where? Ss: The theatre. T: Youre so clever!5. Read after me “go there, how do we go there?”Ask some groups to read the sentence.T: How? Do you know?Ss: By taxi.T: Great! Read after me “ taxi, taxi, by taxi”Ask some groups to read the phrase.6. T: We ve enjoy so many beautiful places, for example. Oriental Pearl, China Pavilion, Ocean Park. If you want to go to these places, you can by taxi, by plane, by train and so on. OK, your task is to choose your favorite place and talk about with your partner how to go there. You can use these sentences. Attention, please, if you cannt speak English, you can say Chinese. Give Ss some minutes to preapare and then ask several groups to act out.Step4. Homework:1. Listen to the tape and read it fluently.2. Make a similar dialogue.3. Make a plan for May
