What did you do on your holiday?A hamburger writing lessonTeaching Aims1、Knowledge and Ability(1) Be able to create a title for an article;(2) Be able to master the basic structure of an article;(3) Be able to talk about the activities on the holiday by using past tense;(4) Be able to write a coherent, well structured and logical article.2、Process and Approach(1) Teaching by Task-based Approach;(2) Learning by speaking, acting, reporting, writing and cooperation;(3) Encourage the students to make some creative ideas and help them to fulfill their ideas. (4) Develop the students cooperative ability. 3、Emotion, Attitude and ValueBy guiding the students to talk and write about how they spent the Dragon Boat Festival, the students will value the time with families more and know the importance of family time.Important points and DifficultiesImportant points(1) Be able to master the basic structure of an article;(2)Be able to talk about the activities on the holiday in English;Difficulties(1) Be able to create a title for an article;(2) Be able to write a coherent, well structured and logical article.Teaching ProcedureStep 1 Warming up1. The students guess What the teacher do on Dragon Boat Festival using Yes or No questions.2. The teacher shows some photos on the screen and Ss guess what the teacher did.Step 2 Jigsaw Reading1.Give each group an envelope in which there is my article. There are some paragraphs in the envelope. Ss reorder these paragraphs and stick them on a card to form an article.2. Encourage the Ss to create a title for the article and write it on the card.Step 3 Reading for structure1. Skim and matchAsk the Ss to match the paragraphs with the ideas of each paragraphs.2. Show a hamburger on the screen to explain the structure: introduction, main body and conclusion.Step 4 Group work1. Ask Ss to talk about the following questions:What did you do on the holiday?Who did you spend your festival with?What do you think of your holiday?2. Write an article about how they spent the Dragon Boat Festival.3. Ask the Ss to read each others article and give some advice. Step 5 Show time.The teacher collects all the articles and ask three Ss to pick randomly, each student reads one article in
