教学设计教师姓名程敬云学校丰台八中教材初中英语北师大版教材 第十四册课题Unit Twelve Western ChinaLesson45 It has a lot of natural resources.( A )设计思路“新课标”强调教学要注重知识的传授过程，改变以往过于注重知识讲授的教学方式。因此在本课书的教学中，我比较关注学生通过探索获取知识的过程，尽量采用设问方式引导他们主动探究，激发学生的兴趣。教学设计要符合学生心理和生理特点，满足不同类型和不同层次学生的需求。本课是一节阅读课。为此，我设计的教学活动，旨在通过阅读，运用观察，发现，归纳等手段，学生获取有关中国西部的地貌，资源，人口，面积等方面的信息，同时学习描述这些信息的句型并理解其意义。教材分析本课书位于第14册教材的第12单元，本单元的话题为western China. 本单元是一个复习单元。主要复习使用there be 和have句型描述地理的概貌；学会使用形容词的比较级和最高级描述地理特征和食物的特征；用学会使用一般过去时描述过去的事件；学会使用现在完成时表达刚刚完成的动作并描述生活中经历的事情。学情分析本单元是一个复习单元。本课复习的重点是there be句型，和形容词的比较级和最高级的词形，句子结构及其用法和意义。there be在初一的学习中就重点学习过，学生对其句型结构掌握的很好，部分学生总是分不清there be 和have用法的区别。另外，对于西部这样一个话题，学生比较感兴趣。教学目标在本节课结束之后，学生能够：1. 知识目标：1）学生能够掌握本课单词的音形意，2）学习用there be 和have/has 句型描述地理概貌；2能力目标：1）能听懂there be 和have/has 句型描述地理概貌，并会简单运用。2) 用形容词最高级描述地理特征及事物特征，联系比较级，最高级句型。3) 用现在完成时表达刚刚完成的动作并描述生活中经历过的事情。3. 情感目标价值观：通过学生对西部概述的了解，培养学生爱国主义情操。教学内容：1. 话题：western China2. 词汇：few, rich, kind,encourage, education 3.句型： Guangzhou is in the south of China.Therere mountains highlands and deserts.4.语法.：一般现在时教学重点形容词最高级、一般现在时使用方法。教学难点明确在实际生活中，什么情境下运用一般现在时教学资源录音机，多媒体课件，粉笔，实物投影台教学过程教学环节与时间安排教与学的过程设计意图Step1Lead-in教师请学生看多媒体，回答问题，将话题引入Western China:Where do you think of the pictures are from?Do you know this part of China?What is it like？ How does it compare with the other parts ofthe country?激发学生学习兴趣，引导学生关注本课内容Step2Pre-reading 处理部分生词教师利用多媒体图片，引领同学了解中国西部的名胜古迹及著名景点同时处理部分生词。学生说不出来的教师用英文或中文解释学习单词，扫除阅读生词障碍 Step3While reading1.教师请同学分组先读文章，填写单词。2.教师分段放录音，学生检查横线填词。3.学生听录音分段跟读课文，理解文章含义。4.小组讨论回答问题，检查对文章的理解第一段Is Western China large or small?Which city is the major city?How many provinces are there in Western China?How many autonomous does it include?第二段 True or falseThere are 9,600,000 square kilometers in western China.There are only 78.2 percent of the population of China people in Western China.There are a lot of rivers and lakes in the West than in the East.第三段Does it have many kinds of minerals?Are there many famous museums and beautiful places?What are they?5. 学生小组合作完成p72的1.3表格。 填写单词听录音并核对答案理解文章Step4 Post-reading1. 教师用多媒体展示重点词组句型，学生讨论含义及用法。2. 教师讲解重点词句，学生口头造句并练习。Homework1. 抄写本课词汇，句型。2. 熟练朗读课文1.2。 板书设计Unit Twelve Western China Lesson 45 It has a lot of natural resources.
