PEP Book 3, Unit 4 My Home Part A Lets learn &Lets do教学设计安庆市人民路小学 陈晓春设计理念Teaching ideas:英语课程标准明确倡导“任务型”教学途径和全身反应法(TPR)。这节课旨在激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生学习英语的积极态度,使他们建立学习英语的自信心;培养学生的语感和良好的语音、语调基础,使学生形成初步的运用英语进行简单日常交流的能力,为进一步学习打下基础。一、教材分析Analysis of this lesson1、教学内容 Teaching contents本节课为PEP英语四年级上册Unit4 My Home, Part A的Lets learn 和Lets do两部分。本课主要内容是让学生能听说认读五个关于房间的单词,能简单描述自己的房间,听懂与房间相关的指令并做出相应的动作。2、教学重点Teaching points听说认读单词study,living room,bedroom,bathroom,kitchen,能用简单的句子描述自己的家。3、教学难点Teaching difficulties(1)正确掌握单词bedroom,kitchen,bathroom的发音。(2)理解有关房间的指令,并能根据指令做相关动作。二、教学目标Teaching aims1、认知目标Knowledge aim:(1)能听、说、认读study,living room,bedroom,bathroom,kitchen五个单词。(2)能听懂Lets do部分的指示语,并按照指令做出相应的动作。2、能力目标Ability aim:(1)通过创设情境,使学生运用所学语言,培养初步的口语能力。(2)通过竞赛、游戏等活动激发学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣。(3)能根据指令做出相应反应,学会运用英语思维。3、情意目标Emotion aim:(1)有意识地渗透品德教育,激发他们对家的热爱之情。(2)通过教学活动, 培养学生的团结协作意识。(3)寓美术、音乐于英语教学之中,创设愉悦的教学情境,培养学生学习的情趣,提高他们的艺术欣赏水平。三、教法与学法Teaching & Learning Methods结合本节课的教学内容,充分考虑到四年级学生的认知规律与能力,以学生为主体,以人为本,运用交互式电子白板这种现代信息技术手段优化教学,采用情境教学法、全身动作反应法、整体语言教学法、任务型教学途径等激励情趣,创造充满生命活力的英语课堂。1、情境教学法Situational Approach运用电子白板创设情境,引导学生说出房间单词,简单描述房间,激发学生的学习兴趣,引导学生参与其中,与学生进行情感交流,激励情趣,使学生愉快学习。2、任务型教学途径Task-based Language Teaching Approach任务型教学途径是新课标倡导的主要教学途径,在这节课上我设计了猜一猜、连线、捉迷藏、装饰房子的活动。让学生在参与活动、完成任务的过程中自然地习得、运用语言,在任务实施的过程中发展英语思维能力和运用能力。3、全身反应教学法Total Physical Response四年级的学生有很强的模仿能力,当教师有意识地将语言与动作相结合来教学时,他们乐于接受,一方面做到了形象、直观,另一方面也能调动全体学生参与其中。4. 整体语言教学法Whole Language Teaching Approach整体语言教学法首先强调整体,整体把握语言的“听、说、读、写”四个部分,而且把语言教学的范畴推广到与学生生活有关的各个方面。四、教学媒体Teaching Media交互式电子白板课件、交互式电子白板、视频、flash动画等。 五、教学过程 Teaching Procedures.Warm-up/Review1.Free talk.T:Good afternoon, boys and girls. How are you? Im glad to see you here. My name is Miss Wang. Nice to meet you. T shows some animals on the whiteboard and asks: Do you like animals? Whats this ?S: Its a monkey/panda/.T: Where are they?S: They are in the zoo. (设计意图:课堂教学刚刚开始,亲切的问候能迅速拉近与学生的距离。教师使用交互式电子白板的图层遮蔽功能,使动物图片有序出现,吸引学生的注意力,在短时间内活跃课堂气氛。)2.Lets sing.T: Now lets sing a song “They are in the zoo”. OK?S: OK.T: Are you in the zoo now?S: No, we are in the classroom. (设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的播放视频功能,播放歌曲flash动画,调动学生的学习积极性,由歌曲复习旧知,师生问答引出classroom, 为后面有关房间的单词教学做准备。)II.Presentation1.Introduce the word “study”.T shows a house on the whiteboard and says: I have a new house. Do you want to go and visit it? Lets go. How many rooms are there? What colours are they? S: There are five. They are blue, black,.T: I want to read a story-book. Where is my story-book? Can you guess?S: Is it in the red room?T: Yes./No. Its in the red room. Lets go inside. Whos she?S: Shes Miss Wang.T: What can you see in the room?S: Many books.T: So this is a study. Read after me.T writes the word on the whiteboard. Ss repeat after T.T: Where is Miss Wang?S: Shes in the study.T: Yes, Im in the study. What can I do in the study?S: Read a book./ Do the homework.T: Lets chant. Go, go, go to the study. Read, read, read a book.(设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的超链接功能,由房子进入书房图片,为学生创设家的语言情境,通过寻找story-book引出study,提问引导学生思考在书房的活动,教授动作指令。使用交互式电子白板的板书功能,教师在四线格中写单词,对学生起到书写示范作用,使学生注意正确的书写格式。) 2. Introduce the word “living room”.T draws a TV and a sofa on the whiteboard and asks Ss to guess.T:I like to draw pictures. Whats this? Please guess. They are a TV and a sofa. Where are they? They are in the living room.Ss read after T.T writes the word on the whiteboard.T: Whos she? S: Shes Mei Yangyang.T: Where is she?S: Shes in the living room.T: What can she do? She can watch TV. Lets chant. Go, go, go to the living room. Watch, watch, watch TV.(设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的智能笔功能,教师画简笔画让学生猜家具,从而引出living room,直观生动,活跃课堂气氛,激发学生兴趣,弱化教学难点,提高学生的审美能力,对学生产生了潜移默化的美育作用。) 3. Introduce the word “kitchen”.T shows some snacks on the whiteboard and asks Ss to have a snack in the kitchen.T: Im hungry. I want to have a snack. What can you see?S: I can see a hot dog/ hamburger .T: They are snacks. We cant have a snack in the classroom. Where can we have a snack? We can have a snack in the kitchen.Ss read after T.T writes the word on the whiteboard.T: Whos he? S: Hes Hui Tailang.T: Where is he?S: Hes in the kitchen.T: What can he do? S: He can have a snack. T: Lets chant.Go, go, go to the kitchen. Have, have, have a snack.(设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的聚光灯功能,快速呈现小吃图片,考察学生的记忆力,引出have a snack,教师带领学生进入kitchen,操练词汇和动作指令。Chant 巩固指令,寓学于乐,易学易记,韵味十足,朗朗上口,培养语感。) 4. Introduce the word “bathroom”.T asks Ss to guess where Lan Yangyang is.T: Where is Lan Yangyang? Guess. Look,he is in the bathroom.Ss read after T.T writes the word on the whiteboard.T: What can he do? He can take a shower. Lets chant. Go, go, go to the bathroom. Take, take, take a shower.(设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的局部遮屏和超链接功能,通过找懒羊羊进入卫生间,引出bathroom,操练词汇,新授动作指令。) 5.Introduce the word “bedroom”.T asks Ss to guess whats in the last room.T: There is a bed. So this is a bedroom.Ss read after T.T writes the word on the whiteboard.T: Whos he? S: Hes Xi Yangyang.T: Where is he?S: Hes in the bedroom.T: What can he do? He can have a sleep. Lets chant. Go, go, go to the bedroom. Have, have, have a sleep. (设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的局部遮屏和超链接功能,通过猜房间的物品bed,引出bedroom,操练词汇,新授动作指令。新知的呈现方式多样化,最大限度地激发学生的学习情趣,在教师的引导下愉悦地完成语言的习得。) 6.T shows the whiteboard and asks Ss to match the words.T: Look at the words living room, bathroom and bedroom. Can you find anything special? They all have “room”. Its easy to remember the words. My home is beautiful. I love my home. Do you love your home? Everyone loves his home.(设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的板书功能,教师呈现在之前教学中生成的白板板书,让学生看图片说房间,并且把图文搭配连线,巩固新知。使用交互式电子白板的标注功能,标注room,引导学生发现单词组合的规律,帮助他们记忆单词。然后教师总结出课题My Home,教育学生要热爱自己的家。 ) .Practice1.T shows the cartoon and lets Ss read the sentences and vocabulary after it. (设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的视频插入功能,播放课文的flash动画,让学生听读词汇和句子,回归课本。)2.Lets do.T shows the cartoon and asks Ss to chant and do after it.T says the room. Ss follow and do the action. Let Ss practise in pairs. Then T asks Ss to match the sentences.Go to the playground. Cook the meals.Go to the classroom. Sing a song.Go to the kitchen. Make the bed.Go to the bathroom. Play football.Go to the music room. Learn English.Go to the bedroom. Brush your teeth.(设计意图:动作指令在前面已逐步渗透教学,通过TPR活动,理解有关房间的指令,能根据指令做出相应动作。使用交互式电子白板的视频插入功能,播放动作指令的视频,让学生跟着画面和韵律一起说一起表演。两人一组活动,复习巩固五个动作指令,生生形成互动。最后的连线活动,对本课知识进行拓展延伸。)3.Game: Hide and seek.T shows some photos of Zhao Wei and Zhou Jielun etc on the whiteboard and asks Ss to guess where they are. T guides Ss to guess: Is he/she in the ? T gives them a sticker if he or she is right.(设计意图:使用交互式电子白板的改变图片透明度和遮屏功能,让学生猜一猜人物在哪个房间,引导学生说一般疑
