英语教学设计课题:Unit1 Where did you go on vacation?(2a-2e)教学目标(teaching objectives):Knowledge objective:Students can master new words (decide,try,paragliding,feel like,bird,bicycle,building,trader,wonder, difference,top,wait,umbrella,wet,becauseof,below,enough,hungry).and phrases(arrive in, walk around ,try paragliding,Feel like, in the past, too many,wait for,rain hard,enough money,new/old buildings)Ability objective:Studens can improve reading and writing skillsEmotional objective: To cultivate students love of life and nature教学重点与难点(Teaching key points and Teaching difficult points):掌握重要单词和短语,掌握动词过去式,培养学生的阅读技能,和学会如何写旅行日记学情分析:本班共38名学生,英语基础一般,课堂参与能力一般,教学中应把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,提高学生课堂参与的积极性。引导学生掌握一定的英语学习方法。教学用具:PPT, recorder教学方法与策略:启发式,探究讨论式。充分发挥评价的作用激励作用,及时对学生的表现给予表扬和鼓励,帮助学生建立自信心。Teaching precedures:(第一学时)Step1 leading-inShow some pictures about Malaysia cities and seaside.Someone went there. Letsee what she talked about.Step2 Pre-reading1.Before reading,lets have a disscussion in groups:1.What do people usually do on vacation?2.What activities do you find enjoyable?Show some pictures to help students answer and present them some new words(go paragliding,ride bicycles,visit old buildings)2.Read new words after the teacher and the teacher explain some.Arrive in 到达 I arrive in Beijing this morningGo paragliding 做滑翔运动Feel like 感觉像I feel like I was in a deam.Wait for the train等火车Decide to do something 决定做某事Too many +可数名词 too much +不可数名词Because of+n./v+ing 因为,由于Difference/different form 与.不同As.像.一样 as +adj/adv+as The weather is as good as yesterday.Step3 while-reading1.Fast reading:Give students two minutes to read the two dairy entries quckily and answer the questions:1)Did Jane have a good time on Monday? 2)What about on Tuesday? Check the answers2.Careful reading:This time ask students to read them carefully and answer the following questions:1)What the weather like in Penang on Monday?2)What did Jane do on Monday morning?Did she like it?Why/why not?3)What did they have for lunch(on Monday)?How was the food?4)What did they do on Monday afternoon?Did she like it?Why/why not?5)What the weather like on Tuesday?6)What did Jane do on Tuesday?Did she like it?
