Unit 3 I am more outgoing than my sisterSection B 2a-2e 教学设计一、 教材分析新目标八年级上Unit3的中心话题是谈论朋友的个性特征，语法要点为形容词及其比较级的学习。SectionB(2a-2e)以三对好朋友之间的差异为话题，2c-2e围绕2b完成任务是语言知识的扩展、深化与运用，是SectionA内容的延伸。二、教学目标1、语言知识目标: 学习、掌握serious ,mirror, kid, both, grade等单词以及Its+ adj + for sb. to do sth.,both and，as long as, in fact, asas, bring out, the same as, be similar to等短语。2、语言能力目标：培养学生的阅读能力，能读懂文章完成相关习题；能用形容词比较级谈论两个人之间的相同点和不同点。3、情感态度目标：通过谈论好朋友应是什么样的，学生学会正确评价别人、尊重别人，树立正确的交友观。 三、学情分析1、利用多媒体课件上英语课，学生视听感受明显，表现出极大兴趣，在欣赏和享受中学习，学习效果很明显。 2、学生们已学习英语1年多了，他们有一定的英语单词和句子基础，喜欢在轻松的气氛中通过小组活动进行学习，具备基本的自主学习能力基础，通过对本节课的学习可以系统的掌握用正确的语言结构表达人物特点和人物比较。四、教学重难点 1、教学重点：1）读懂文章，完成相关习题；2）用比较级在小组内交流。2、教学难点：用英语表达自己的交友观。五、设计理念 本节课依据课程标准，结合学生生活设计活动，使学生在谈论交友的过程中掌握比较级的用法及其他知识。课堂设计以听说读写为主线，由易到难，环环相扣，循序渐进，以层层铺垫的任务活动展开知识学习。六、教学过程:Step 1 Warming up and revision Listen to a song, show the lyrics on the screen, get the students to find out the comparatives and say them out.When listening to the song, students should pay more attention to the comparatives of the adjectives from the lyrics.(Ask: Who can find them out, raise your hands) 【设计意图】歌词中形容词比较级与所讲内容相符，课前唱歌能活跃课堂气氛，使学生以轻松、愉快的心情上课。Step 2 Presentation (2a)First complete the comparative forms of the adjectives and summarize the rules.(Ask the students to write the answers on the exercise books, next show the answers and check, then summarize the rules.)Then use the comparative forms of the adjectives to write five sentences about you and your friends.
