In (2) When was/ were .born? was/ were born in能够掌握字母组合ou, ow, ph 及辅音字母p的读音及读音规则;能识别出相同字母或字母组合的不同读音;能够正确使用be动词的一般过去时was/ were,如: When were you/was he/she born? I/He/She was born in January, 1999.教学重难点正确使用表达年月、谈论出生年月和出生地点的表达方式;正确读、写关于年份、月份的表达。Be动词was, were在一般过去时中的应用;英语中十二个月份的读、写。教学设计Step 1 Review 1. Let students listen to the song Happy Birthday together. (引入本课标题。)Unit 7 The Birthday PartyTopic 1 When is your birthday?Section A 2. Greeting! Ask and answer between teacher and students. Lead them to read 3a.(用学生回答的年龄里的numbers 来引出年份的表达法。)Step 2 Presentation 1. Let students read and write these years in English. May 13th.(2) Whats the date today? Its May 8th. 教学重难点Key points 掌握谈论生日、日期的表达法; 熟练掌握序数词的读、写。Difficult points 熟练掌握序数词的读、写。教学设计Step 1 Review (时间:5分钟)检查家庭作业。复习月份、年份的表达法和1100的基数词。1. (出示日历表,复习月份和年份的表达法。)T: When/Where were you born?Ss: 2. (让学生做接龙游戏, 说出1100的基数词。)T: Lets play a number game. Please say the numbers from one to one hundred, OK? (教师指着第一排第一个学生说) Start!(老师按顺序指着学生说:You say one, you say two, you say three Lets count up to one hundred.)Step 2 Presentation (时间:10分钟)呈现1和2a。学习序数词。1. (1)(复习并用数字卡片呈现基数词和序数词, 创设直观情景。)(先复习first的用法。)T: Today, we(教师说明onefirst, twosecond, threethird的用法并板书。)(2)(教师出示写有100以内基数词和序数词的小黑板或数字挂图或幻灯片,并播放录音,要求学生边听边注意比较基数词和序数词的异同。呈现2a。)T: Now listen to 2a and compare the cardinal numbers and the ordinal numbers.(3)(找四个学生到黑板上写下有特殊变化的序数词。)T: Please try to find out at least eight special ordinal numbers and the rules of ordinal numbers.(基变序,有规律,词尾加上-th。一、二、三,特殊记,结尾字母t, d, d;八减t,九减e,ve要用f替;ty把y变为i,记住th前有个e;若是遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。)2. (放1的录音,让学生跟读, 并用铅笔标出重读与语调。)T: Follow the tape and mark the stress and intonation with your pencil.2. (让学生擦去所标重读与语调, 先自读1, 然后跟录音一起读, 逐句核对语音和语调。) T: Erase the marks. (教师出示一个球, 引出表示形状的句型和生词circle。)T: I have a lot of objects. Do you want to have a look at them? OK, Ill show them to you. T: Whats this in English?S1: Its a basketball.T: What color is it?S1: Its red.T: 教师可用汉语提示。)S1: 圆的。T: 2. (教师出示一块三角形的蛋糕、一个鸡蛋、一张长方形的硬纸, 引出生词triangle, oval, rectangle, square。)(1)(对话一)T: Whats this in English?Ss: Its a cake.T: Ss: 三角形。3. (教师出示一个地球仪, 引出词组be like。)T: 教师可用汉语提示)Ss: 球。T:4. (教师出示一颗五角星形状的纸, 然后把它折成一朵花的形状。) T: T:5. (教师出示2a 的图片, 练习be like的一般现在时和一般过去时用法。) T: Now, look at the pictures in 2a. He was born in June, 1986.他出生于1986年6月。在具体的某日前,用介词on; 在月份或年份前用介词in。如:on April 1st, 2005 在2005年4月1日in June, 1970 在1970年6月 in 2004 在2004年3. Wow! Its May 8th. 5月8日。 Whats the date today?询问日期的句型一般而言,序数词前应加定冠词the。但在美式英语中,表达日期时不用the;而在英式英语中则用the。月日,年 May 21st, 2001 读作:May (the) twenty-first, two thousand and one日月,年 25th May, 2001 读作:the twenty-fifth of May, two thousand and one3. Thats next Wednesday! 是下个星期三!next Wednesday 下个星期三,last 和next 与年、月、星期连用时,分别意为“上个”, “下个”。 如: last two months 上两个月 next week 下个星期4. Im afraid恐怕(委婉拒绝)5.What is it like?它像什么? be like像( )(外观,事物特征,人物性格) look like看起来像()(看起来像)6. What shape was it a moment ago?它刚才是什么形状? a moment ago 意为 “刚才”,相当于just now。ago意为 “以前”,应放在表示一段时间的短语之后。如: half a year ago 半年前4. Its 6.4 centimeters wide. (该物有6.4厘米宽)。 Its+数词+计量单位+形容词(长、宽、高) 1) 句子6.4读作 six point four. 2) 英语中表达长宽高,常先说数字,再说单位,而表示长宽高的形容词放在最后。如: The man is 2 meters tall.5. What do we use it for? We use it to keep pencils, rulers, erasers and so on.use for (doing)sth. / to do sth. 意为 “用做” for后常接名词和动名词,而to后接动词原形。We use this room for having meetings. Mr. Li uses a computer to get information.6. it must be a pencil-box,它一定是一个文具盒must be 表推测判断 He must be at home. 他一定在家。 类似的有 may be 也表示推测判断, 但没must be有把握, 表示可能, 也许。 She may be at school. 她可能在学校。 否定的判断用: cant be He cant be Kangkang.
