黑龙江大学外语部大学外语应用提高教学管理中心英国社会与文化教学大纲英国社会与文化课程教学大纲【课程代码】 【课程中文名称】英国社会与文化【课程英文名称】British Culture and Society【学分】1 学分 【总学时】 28 学时 【讲授学时】 28学时【实验学时】 【实习实践学时】一、教学目标 本课程教学目标为通过介绍英国的政治、经济、法律、宗教、教育、以及社会民俗等方面的概况，使学生对英国的政治、经济、历史、文化、社会等概况有较全面的了解和认识。激发学生对欧洲文化的兴趣。了解中、西方文化的差异，提高学生跨文化交际敏感性和能力。进而提高学生的文化素质和对世界文化知识的了解。加深学生对英语语言的理解。为今后研究英国社会和文化或进入英国大学深造奠定良好的文化基础。 二、课程描述 英国社会与文化课程属于文化信息课。其主要目的是将大量有关英国社会和文化的信息传递给学生，使学生了解英语国家的社会与文化的基本现状。在今后的国际间交流中成功地完成交际任务，达到交际目的。本课程主要通过介绍英国的政治、经济、法律、宗教、教育、以及社会民俗等方面的现状。使学生对英国的社会与文化有较全面的了解和认识。拓宽学生视野、激发学生对英国文化的兴趣。了解中、西方文化的差异。提高学生跨文化交际敏感性和能力。进而提高学生的文化素质和对世界文化知识的了解。加深学生对英语语言的理解。为今后研究英国社会和文化或进入英国大学深造奠定良好的文化基础。本课程考试采用阶段性评估形式， 总成绩为100 分，其中平时成绩占30分（课堂表现10分+课堂测试10分+作业10分）旷课1/3者将被取消考试资格。请假适当扣分。期末开卷笔试占70分。三、课程性质及教学对象英国社会与文化属全校外语类选修课程。本课程面向在校三、四年级文、理科学生开设。开课1个学期，共28学时。 四、教材选用1 选用教材：自编2 学生使用教材说明： A 需要学生购买教材 B 教师根据教材内容发放活页材料 3 参考书目 (1) 新编英美概况 许鲁之著 (2) 英国社会与文化 余厚强著(3) 英美社会与文化 罗选民著 (4) 新编英美概况 来安方著 五、教学内容Chapter 1: Land and People 【基本要求】学生应掌握1.
