What are all the fathers doing? They are playing football. Who is he? Hes Chips Dad. Dad was playing football. (Picture 2)Dad ran with the ball. He ran so fast. “Go on Dad!” called Chip. “Kick it!” (教师伴有肢体动作解释Kick一词) Everybody was excited. (Picture 3) But,suddenly! Everybody was shocked. Can you guess what happened to Dad? (挡住爸爸部分,让学生预测) Dad fell over in the mud. Splat! (配合动作表情) Oh, in the mud. Dad got muddy. Its so dirty! “Bad luck, Dad!” said Biff.(Picture 4)Dad, Biff and Chip went home. Look at Dad! What was he like? Look at Mum, Was Mum happy? Mum was angry. What would Mum say? “Oh Dad,” she said. “What a mess!” Dad felt sorry. If you were Dad, what would you do? (学生体会人物情感,发挥想象表达见解) (Picture 5)What did Dad want to do? Dad went up to the bathroom. He ran a bath. He put in some bath foam into the bath. (可以动作展示) What did Kipper give Dad? Kipper gave Dad a bath duck. Dad would have a very nice bath.(Picture 6)Dad came down. Look at Dad! (指向图片中爸爸的眼睛,引导学生观察爸爸的表情) What did he see? There was a football on TV. Dad loves football, right? So, what would Dad do?(Picture 7)So Dad went into the living room, sat on the sofa, and looked at the attractive football. “Go on!” he called. “Kick it!” Dad even was so excited.(配合表情) But he forgot something. What did he forget? The running bath.(Picture 8)Dad forgot the bath. Drip! Drop! Drip! Plop! Plop! Splat! (配合动作表情) The bath water overflow. Did Dad know it? No, Dad got stuck in the football game. “What was that?” The bath water. (配合动作表情) What would happen later?(Picture 9)Splash! “Oh no,” said Dad.
