Teaching procedures:Step 1 Leading in I Guessing game : The teacher shows the picture on page 37.Help Ss predict the topic of unit7.Ask Ss: Where shall we go ? What are we going to talk about? Then lead in the theme“Shopping” 活动目标:通过课本图片,预测单元主题。用场景展示,激发学生透过图片信息感受学习内容的潜能。Step 2 Leading in II The teacher shows the learning objectives. 活动目标:整体把握本节课学习方向,让学生知道“我要去哪里。”“将要到哪里。”“如何去哪里。”Step 3 Listening & Speaking: Section A 1a (Learning words) The picture shows a clothing store. Imagine the teacher is the owner:“Welcome to Selinas Clothes Store! Come and buy your clothes at our great sale!”then show the clothes: “Hat, bag, T-shirt, sweater, skirt, jacket .” Ask students to make a short dialogue 1.Whats that?Its a _.What color is it?Its _. And then show the clothes: “socks, shorts, trousers, shoes .” Ask students to make a short dialogue 2. What are those/these? They are _. What color are they? Theyre _.At last, let Ss work in pairs make the conversations. Focus on the key words.活动目标:图片实物展示介绍购物内容,单数物品和复数物品分开展示和对话联系,让学生在语句练习中熟悉词汇,对于陌生词汇和易错词汇重点拼读和识记。词汇学习离不开语句的框架,语句的体现离不开语境的真实感悟。力争学生能在用中学,学中练!Section A 1aMatch the words with the things in the picture on page 37.活动目标:在词汇训练的基础上,强化词汇识记。“Match”的含义,教师可带领学生一起操练“Socks”的形式给出做题提示。Section A 1a & Section A 1bListen and circle the things you hear in the picture.Girl: How much is the hat?Woman: Its six dollars.Girl: And how much are these shorts?Woman: Oh, theyre eight dollars.Girl: And this sweater? How much is it?Woman: Lets see. Its nine dollars.Ss listen the passage 2 times.活动目标:训练学生听取关键信息的能力。教师可以提示学生注意抓取“Things”Step 4 Listening & Role play:Section A 1c.Teacher shows a short video: There is a sale. The girl is asking a store assistant about the price of a hat, the shorts and a sweater. The prices are in dollars. Ask Ss to find the magic phrases “How much is .?”,“How much are .?”Task 1c. Practice the conversation with your partner. Then make your own conversations.A: How much is this T-shirt?B: Its seven dollars.A: How much are these socks?B: Theyre two dollars.活动目标:语境训练,让学生分角色联系,体验不同的身份转换语言。教师提前准备好多张实物图片和价签。让学生分组随机抽取图片演示,检测学生灵活运用购物用语的能力,以便教师查漏补缺,为本单元语法学习做好铺垫。Step 5 Listening & Repeating:Section A 2a. Ask Ss to listen the colors, Ss can have a chant to repeat the colors. (Individual & pair work)活动目标:韵律美在语言的习得中很能体现。现用“说唱”的形式把词汇和大小,长短联系起来操练,让学生感受单词韵律的律动,活跃课堂气氛,便于口头识记。Step 6 Listening.Section A 2b & Section A 2c. Listen to the conversations and circle the things you hear. Ask students to glance through the six pictures. Let Ss predict what will listen. Then listen again. Fill in the price tags. At last, listen the conversations again and check the answers.Step 7 Listening & Role play:Section A 2d & Section A 2e.Task 2d.Ask and answer questions about the things in 2b.This part is to give Ss the opportunity to use the target language in a controlled manner.
