Unit 5 Our School LifeTopic 3 My school life is very interesting.Section D一、教学目标1. 引导学生复习总结本话题的黑体词并学习新词:February, hard2. 引导学生总结一般现在时和现在进行时的用法。3. 复习Sections A-C中对科目、时间和数量的提问以及对科目的看法和原因的表达。4. 能结合话题,运用“写信、谈论学习习惯”等交际功能意义的表达,进行笔头操练并加以总结。5. 能通过谈论最喜爱的课程及其原因,增进同学之间的了解,培养学生对校园生活的热爱之情。6. 能通过描述自身学习习惯、对比他人学习习惯、谈论如何改进学习习惯,从而提升学生自身的学习能力。二、教学重点及难点1. 在Sections A-C已学的基础上,能自行总结一般现在时和现在进行时的用法,复习对科目、时间和数量的提问以及对科目的看法和原因的表达;2. 能结合话题,运用“写信、谈论学习习惯”等交际功能意义的表达,进行笔头操练并加以总结。三、教学准备教师:教学课件;多媒体设备学生:课前预习四、教学过程Step 1 RevisionAsk Ss to do some exercise to review what they learned.【设计意图】通过做题复习上节课所学内容,也为接下来的学习做好铺垫。Step 2 PresentationWork on Grammar & Functions1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in Grammar as quickly as possible.2. Present the differences between Present Simple and Present Continuous.3. Fill in the blanks in “Functions” individually. Then check the answers with their partners. 【设计意图】引导学生自主总结归纳所学重点知识,复习本单元所学单词、一般现在时、现在进行时和询问数量、时间、表达喜好观点的功能句型,培养学生口语表达能力。Step 3 PracticeWork on 11. Ask Ss to listen to the recording and fill in the blanks. 2. Ask Ss to check the answers with their partners. Then the whole class check the answers together.【设计意图】通过听力复习巩固星期名词、与活动有关的动词短语和地点名称。Work on 21. Ask Ss to read the questions before reading and get some information about the passage.2. Ask Ss to write a passage about their own study habits with the words in the box in 2. They can begin like this:e.g.I usually do my homework from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. When I study English, I usually use a dictionary because I think its useful.2.
