Ss: He was doing the homework in the house / at 8:00 last night cooking in the kitchen /at this time yesterdaywatching a game at home / when it rained (2) 总结过去进行时的构成:was/ were + doingStep 2 PresentationWatch a video about a rainstorm. Then ask the students some questions:1. What could you see and hear before the rainstorm? You could hear strong winds outside. It is dark.2. What could you hear during the rainstorm? You could hear the rain beat against the window.3. What could you see after the rainstorm? Everything was in a mess.4. What things can you prepare before the storm? Flashlights,radios,matches.Step 3 Reading (1)3a Read the passage quickly and find the topic sentence.(2) Then read each paragraph and answer the questions.(play a game) Everyone in the neighborhood was busy.
