高一英语Unit15 The necklace说课稿 Good afternoon , ladies and gentlemen , I am very glad to be here to give a presentation about how I will teach this lesson . I have 5 main parts , the first one is to analyze the content that I am going to teach , which includes four aspects , teaching material analyses , teaching aims , difficult points and key points . Then i will analyze my students , present my teaching methods and teaching procedures . This class will be 45 minutes . During my teaching process, I want to practice students reading and listening skills as well as independent learning and thinking . Analyses of the Teaching Materials (1) Analyses of the contentThe necklace was adapted from Guy de Maupassants short story the necklace . It tells a story of the beautiful heroin who was invited to a party ,without any jewelry to wear, decided to borrow a necklace from her friend . She was so charming at the party and she had a great time with her husband . Unfortunately, the necklace was found lost when they got home . No sign of the necklace, in order to pay off the debt she owed to buy a resemblant necklace, she worked day and night for 10 years with her husband . But to her shock , at last , she was informed that the necklace she borrowed from her friend was a fake one . It was not made of diamond , worth no more than 500 francs .Three scenes in our book spread out the story ,which decrease the difficulties of reading , and it motivates students to learn more . The dramatic tragedy of the woman is also a material to teach students how to mold their outlook toward the world , which is also one of the objectives.So lets get to the teaching aims .(2) Teaching Aims Based on the above analyses , I made 3 teaching aims .First , Knowledge aim (语言知识目标): Get students to know how to use these words : recognize ,ball, continue,diamond,jewelry, necklace ,palace, francs . Phrases : after all ,call on, bring back,try on,without luck,pay off.Second , Ability aim (语言技能目标): a) listening to the tape to know how to read correctly .b) get students to guess the meaning of words through context ,which can form a good reading habit . c) by task based learning, Students would get improved in their ability of logical analyses and expressing . Third ,Emotion aim(情感目标): a) improve students ability of logical analyzing through analyzing the character . b) through group brainstorming , students can form their own outlook toward the world out of reading . (3)Key Points a) understand the whole passage . b) improve the ability of analyzing ,guessing, retelling .(4)Difficult Points How to improve students ability of analyzing ,guessing , retelling . Analyses of the Students Senior high school students are passionate and have various interests . They like to study by their own. And they are from a key high school, which made them good at English and they can complete general English work. But they are too young to have a good ability of logical analyzing . And for some students , they dont like to learn by themselves . So I will show pictures and video to draw their attention and develop their independent thinking. Teaching Methods Task-based Language Teaching(任务型语言教学法): Reading is designed to develop students reading ability ,but listening ,speaking and writing cannot be ignored . So I will use task-based teaching method in this lesson to lead students to use what they learn in class and make the aims clear . Direct Method(直观法): I will use direct method to play the video of the necklace , first , students can get the main idea of the passage . Second , the students will get interested in what I will teach in this class . So I can have a good start of a relaxed class . Cooperative Learning Strategy (合作学习策略):For learning , I will use Cooperative learning strategy(合作学习策略). Because it is so important to develop students cooperative ability in high school for their future study and living . So in this class , i will encourage them to discuss questions , discussing the character and analyzing the story in group. Teaching Aids 1. a projector 2. a multi-media computer system They are for showing Ss some pictures, some audio files, some visual files, some topics and reading tasks. Teaching Procedure Step1 Warming-up (4 minutes)Greet the students as usual, and then show them pictures of Titanic and the necklace the heart of ocean to lead in. I would show them pictures of the necklace in titanic ,and ask questions .“Do you like the movie Titanic? Why?” and“Do you know the necklace named the heart of ocean in the movie?”,to motivate students interests and lead out the topic the necklaceStep2 Pre-reading (5 minutes)1) Firstly, introduce the author Maupassant(莫泊桑); 2) Secondly, show students the video of the reading material ,then ask them some general questions,such as“When and where did the story happen?” and “Who can tell me something about the play ”. Introducing the author to the students , students will have a general understanding of the passage , and be well- prepared for the integrated reading .Step3 While-reading(20 minutes)In this part, I will lead my students to read each scene, each paragraph carefully, and ask them some detail questions individually. 1. Why didnt Jeanne recognize Mathilde at first? 2. What was the life Mathilde lived in the past ten years like? 3. Why did Mathilde borrow a necklace from her friend? 4. Why had she been working very hard? Students will reading the passage with these questions . Step4 Post-reading (10 minutes)1) At the beginning, ask the students to listen to the tape and read after it; after that, discuss and guess the meaning of the difficult words and phrases that they cant understand with their partners. 2) Secondly, lead the students to discuss the topic “who do you like best?” and state their reasons.Step5 Moral education (4 minutes) In this part, I will lead my students to discuss again about what they can learn from this story. And talk about their comments on the suffering of Mathilde. I will ask questions , such as: Does she deserve it ? If you are faced with the same situation , what will you do ? Step6 Review and homework (2 minutes)Firstly, review with my students what we have learnt today; draw the plot on the blackboard.
