Monday, April 9, 2012Review of units 15 Analysis of the Teaching Material1 Status and FunctionThis is a revision unit, so it covers all the key vocabulary words and the target language presented from Units 15 All the activities are designed for students to review what they have learned and improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills1)In the first period, students review all the vocabulary words learned from units 1-5 by completing a crossword2)In the second period, the activities are used to train students listening for specific information using the target language3)In the third period, the activities provide writing and speaking practice using the target language:4)In the fourth period, the activities provide listening, speaking, reading and writing using the target language: Teaching Aims and Demands1. Teaching Time Four periodsTeaching reflection:Its usually harder to have revision lessons than have new lessons. Designing efficient way to review is important. But how to review what they have already learned is really difficult. For the one thing, they take no interest in revision lessons, and on the other hand, students dont know what to do.
