2009学年第一学期广州市荔湾区小学英语复习策略研讨活动教学设计Asian Games are coming!-Revision of tenses.荔湾区芳村小学 彭春柳一 教学对象分析五年级的学生在这学期学过第三人称单数的一般现在时和初步学习了一般将来时,希望通过这节课的复习梳理和归纳对比,对这两个时态能更熟练地掌握。二 教学目标(一) 语言知识目标熟练掌握第三人称单数一般现在时和一般将来时的表达法。(二) 语言技能目标通过复习,能熟练运用两种时态表达某人的日常生活习惯和打算或计划。(三) 学习策略目标学会自己独立或积极和他人合作,完成学习任务。(四) 情感态度目标积极运用所学英语进行表达与交流;作为广州2010亚运会的东道主,懂得认识和改正自己的不良生活习惯,并为亚运会贡献自己的一份力。三 教学过程1. Leading in . (1) Warming-up. (2) Say the teaching aims.T: We are going to review two tenses today. One is simple present tense and the other is the simple future tense. (3) Lead in Asian Games from Olympic Games. Show the mascots of Asian Games. And name the four groups.T: What are the pictures about? ( Olympic Games in 2008) What will happen in 2010 in Guangzhou? (Asian Games) Yes, Asian Games are coming! Here are the mascots of Asian Games. You are going to have their names today, (AXiang AHe ARu and AYi) and you are going to have a match today, the one who runs the fastest will be the winner today. Are you ready?2. Revision of the simple present tense (the third person singular). (1) Say the verbs and sentences about four mascots. Sum up the time words and the verb-changing rules.(a) (Brain-storming game) T: What do they usually do? Guess and lets have a brain-storming game. Say out the verbs as many as possible.(b) Memory game: the pictures flashes past, T asks: What does AXiang/AHe/ARu/AYiusually/often/ do/ every morning/at in the evening.? P answers: He usually swims./ He often watches TV./ He studies English every morning./ He has dinner at 6:30 in the evening.According to the sentences,T leads Ps to sum up the time words and verb-changing rules used in simple present tense.(2) Make sentences with the given verbs. (use the dice)(3) Guess and talk what LeYangyang does. T: What does LeYangyang do at oclock? P: He at . (5) Read the passage about LeYangyang. Let Ps know LeYangyang is lazy, he has bad habbits.3. Revision of the simple future tense.(1) Use be going to or will to help LeYangyang to get rid of his bad habbits.T: Is LeYangyang a good boy?( No, he isnt. He is a lazy boy) Could you please help him to get rid of his bad habbits? For example: He is going to/ He will(2) Sum up the structure and the time words of the simple future tense.(3) Game: make funny sentences about Tiger in groups.T: Watch a video about Tiger.(one pupils name) . Guess what Tiger is going to do? Write the words on your card paper and then read the sentences in groups. Lets see which group will make the funniest sentences about Tiger.4. Development.(1) Listen and finish LiuXiangs timetable. T: Tiger is going to visit LiuXiang. Listen to the teacher and finish LiuXiangs timetable.(2) Help LiuXiangs coach to make a plan for his training. T: Asian Games are coming, LiuXiang will come to Guangzhou and he wants to win in the Asian Games. What is he going to do? You are going to be his coach and please help him make a new plan. Lets see who wil be the best coach. E.g. LiuXiang is going to get up at 5:00 in the morning. (3) Writing. Choose one of the two tenses, write a passage about LiuXiangs routine or plans.(4) Talk : What are you going to do for the Asian Games?5. Homework.Exercise paper attached.Class_ Name_1.
