Leading-in Let Ss discuss the films listed, saying what they are about and giving their opinions of them. Then discuss any other films in which the sea is important Titanic, Waterworld, Jaws, The Piano, Treasure Island, The Day After TomorrowExample: Ive seen Jaws. Its about a dangerous shark. Its very frightening.Step2. Pre-reading1. Find the following in the pictures on P.14 ,15. wavecloudbarrelsfishing boatfishermanwhirlpool2. Look at the pictures on P.14 and 15 and work in pairs to decide which picture shows the beginning, middle and end of the story.Step3.While-reading1. read the text and judge the following items True or False 1Writer can keep calm in time of danger2In the whirlpool, only the writer survived.
