Leading in Greet to the students by the simple dialogues to lead to the new words and title. Review the Present Progressive Tense. Then lead to the Present Progressive Tense.3. Presentation(1) Look at the pictures and then answer the questions by using the Present Progressive Tense. And then look t 1a. Ask the students when the things happened in the pictures. Lead in the past tense. And then finish 1a.(2) Ask students what were they doing when the rainstorm came? Then look at 1b. Introduce the background of 1b to students. Then listen the first time and check the answers. Listen for the second time and stress the answer keys. Listen for the third time and then answer the questions.a. What was the girl doing?b. How was the weather yesterday?c. Why is the boy glad he didnt decide to play basketball?d. Why did the man still get wet when he had an umbrella?Find students to answer the questions one by one.(3) Read the order of 1c and then work in pairs. And then request the students make a longer conversation in pairs. Give the examples and information on the power point. Work in pairs.4. PracticeFill in the blanks with the correct forms.
