文档简介
Farewell, Riscom After five days of discussing, negotiating, writing and playing, the trip to FDUIMUN has come to an end. However, this experience will last forever deeply in my heart for the people I met, the lesson Ive learnt, and the hilarious incidents Ive gone through. Now, let me share this unforgettable story with you as a witness, and hopefully, you may deeply fall in love with Model United Nation as I do. I will state some of our experience in detail in order to help you have a better understanding of what we did.First, just like the title of this passage, I work for Riscom as Chief Debriefing Officer. Riscom, AKA Risk Management Corporation (RMC), is a think-tank company, whose job is to offer sorts of services, such as evaluating information, offering advice for military operations, or providing various solutions to current problems using our portfolio power and connections . Our clients could be single individuals, large companies or even cabinets of several countries. As long as they have sufficient money, we will collaborate with them.We RMC belongs to the Future Joint Crisis Cabinet, AKA FJCC (强烈谴责某些把我们叫成“凤姐CC”的主席),which includes U.S Cabinet, Israel Cabinet, Iran Cabinet, Future Security Council Risk Management Corporation and the Crisis Center. We are going to gain money from those cabinets by cooperating with them, and deal with infinite crisis from Crisis Center, which is called the God because it knows almost everything, and it can destroy us by simply clicking the keyboard. Now back to the story. In the beginning, we received the first crisis immediately. We were told that some hackers have managed to hack into our system, some classified documents were stolen, and any recent communications may have been compromised, which will reduce our reputation to the minimum once revealed. However, due to the reason that we were not familiar with how this worked, we didnt make rapid response. After a few minutes of chaotic discussion, our monitoring officer finally sent a directive to his fake department using his portfolio power, telling them to find the hacker, and wipe off all the missing documents before too late. However, it had been too late. Our specialists told us that they only found out a small part of our documents, and they couldnt find the hackers for now. Soon, our slow reaction paid off. The fragrant organization, Wiki Leaks, had revealed some of our secret, which showed that we RMC used to do some evil stuff, and our reputation dropped immediately as the Iran cabinet declared that they will not collaborate with our company any more, and condemned us in public. That might be the most difficult time for us, because we had no idea what should do owing to the lack of experience.Several minutes passed, after moving for an unmoderated caucus, we gathered around and had a fierce discussion about what to do next. Then, we wrote a Press Release (a type of document that is public to the whole FJCC), declaring that we have found out who that hacker is, and we couldnt guarantee the authenticity of the missing files, because the hacker had added many fake information for his own interest. Luckily, that announcement did save our reputation, and the first fatal Crisis was constrainedly handled. The life for us is really busy. We had to deal with hundreds of Crisis and tried to make money. However, we didnt get any profit at all in the first day because of our wrong understanding of our company. We were supposed to be a think-tank, but thanks to the misleading of our “unique” chief and our infinite power, we worked in a completely different way. We were able to control all sorts of media, from BBC to 新华社, we can ask them to release any information we want, no matter it is fake or true. As a consequence, we decided to play hard ball with those cabinets in FJCC, and tried to threaten them to cooperate with us by sending scandals to public. However, it did not work very well, because the Crisis Center constantly gave us new Crisis, therefore we did not have any time to negotiate with other cabinets, not to mention signing contract with them.At that night, we gathered in a room and exchange our ideas. After 2 hours of discussing, we came up with an unassailable plan (At least we think it is perfect), which is to sacrifice one of our delegates, David. We were going to tell the public that all those problems we made were because of his betrayal to our firm. It is he who revealed our documents, and made our reputation drop. If this plan worked, we may draw the publics attention to this single individual, and leave us sufficient room to develop and profit. I wrote seven Press Release that night, which will hopefully made other cabinets believe the story we made, and think that we RMC is tremendously effective.Unfortunately, our well-oiled plan failed when we told it to our chief. He rejected our plan for two reasons,1. He thought that our story is too nave to fool other cabinets.2. Even our story managed to fool them; it was still not going to help us. Instead, it would reduce our public reputation, which we cannot afford.Although his reason is fairly cogent and believable, I still didnt want to suspend this plan, because I put my heart into it (I worked extremely hard on those Press Release, and I only slept for two hours that night). But the interest of our company always outweighs the interest of the individual, so I just put it aside and moved on to the upcoming crisis. The final experience I would like to present is the most hilarious and unforgettable one. I have just told you that we once had a plan about sacrificing David by defining him as a traitor. Here comes a surprise.By the time we finished our discussion in the third evening at around 2 oclock, we received a shocking message in QQ from a delegate in Iran Cabinet. He told us that when RMC were negotiating with them, David, the one we were going to sacrifice, really betrayed us for his interest! The delegate sent us a screenshot that showed David was threatening Iran Cabinet that he had seen all the details when Iran Cabinet negotiated with RMC, and he would expose them if Iran did not accept his offer. In return, he would help Iran to destroy our negotiation with Israel, which had been destroyed early in this afternoon. Weighing the pros and cons, Iran Cabinet chose to collaborate with the whole RMC instead of David, so they sent us this news and urged us to eliminate him in case of both RMC and Iran Cabinet. We were completely shocked by this news. How could David, a person we thought so trustful that we gave him an arduous job to save our company, betrayed us for some virtual money? But time didnt allow us to complain, we must take immediate action before this went any further. We called our chief, and he was shocked just as we did. Then, he offered us three choices. It is clear that we must stop him from harming our company, so there are three ways of accomplishing this aim,1. There is a place we called it The Little Black Room(小黑屋). It is our rule that dictates once someone did something wrong, we have the right to put him to this room, and he will be house arrested for a significant long time. But we must draft a directive to the Crisis Room, which means the GOD will know it.2. We RMC also have the capability to murder almost anyone we want (provided that it is practical), so we can kill David and fake it with an accident. However, we still need to draft a directive to Crisis Room.3. We could just arrest him in our conference room, and avoid any contact between him and other people. No one else will know it, Not Even GOD.Due to the fact that our GOD once betrayed us by revealing our directive to another cabinet, we chose the third way. It could reduce our risk to minimum. And that is when various hilarious incidents happened. In the beginning, he seemed to be settled. He just sat in the chair we put away from us, and did not say a word. But a few minutes later, he started writing something, and asked our volunteers to hand it to everyone. All the chairs and delegates silenced when they read the notes. And I didnt know whether I should be amused or be touched when I received mine.He was writing his will! What is wrong with him? It is just a virtual conference, and based on everything he did, there is no doubt that he has gone too far. But, as I quote a very popular saying in RenRen, “这不是高潮!”In that afternoon, when two Iran delegate came into our conference room to negotiate, they saw David and shouted jokingly: “Why he is still alive?” He jumped up and rushed out of our room, shouting: “Im not dead! I can escape!” After a moment of silence, all of us including our chief rushed out of the room, trying to get David back, which alarmed the whole building. In the end, we chased him to the Crisis Room. We didnt know what he want, maybe some sort of political asylum, but it did not work very well when our chief came in, talked to the GOD, and got David back to our room. After a lot of critical and hilarious moment,
