Moral Objects:The content is related to junior students. So its easy to get their interested in learning English. Through this part, students should know how to make, accept and decline invitations correctly.:二、Teaching Key Points& Difficult Points 1) Ss can make /accept/decline invitations correctly.2) Ss can use“ can, might, must ,have to”correctly三、Teaching Procedures. Lead-in 1.Show some pictures on the screen, let Ss say out the expressions correctly in order to help to give the reasons to decline an invitation.2.Play a game to let them remember the phrases. I have to prepare for the math exam. S3: Id lovelike to 3. Ss work in pairs and answer the questions. . Listening 1. Work on 1b: listen to the recording and write the names next to the correct students in the picture. check the answers with the Ss. 2.Work on 2a: Tell Ss they will listen to some sentences. They should listen and circle the words “can” or “cant” in the bracket. check the answers. 3.Work on 2b: Play the recording for the Ss to write the reasons in the chart. V. Role-play 1. listen to the conversations and answer the questions: a) Can Nick come to Jeffs house on Saturday?b) Whats Nicks plan for this weekend?c) What did Jeff and his cousin do last fall?d) When is Sam leaving?e) What is Nick going to do on Monday night?2. Explain some new words and main points in the conversation. VI. Summary: let Ss watch a video to review what they have learnt .VII .Homework: Invite several friends to come to your home for dinner.
