SectionA 初中英语 人教2011课标版一、教学目标1.语言知识与技能目标1)能口笔头掌握以下单词及词组: shoot, stone, weak , remind, silly, once upon a time, solve ones problem, agree with, instead of. 2)能口笔头掌握以下句型: - How does the story begin? -Once upon a time, there was . -What happened next? -They tried to move the mountains. - What do you think about the story of Yu Gong? - I think its interesting/ a little bit silly.3)能够用英语询问故事的开始、发展及后续情况等,能够对故事中的人物或情节发表一些简单的看法或观点。2.过程与方法 引导学生进入故事情境,融合听力训练,以小组合作、竞争的方式学习并掌握单词与句式。通过小组合作探究讨论故事,并能发表对故事或故事中人物的看法。3.情感、态度与价值观 学习愚公“主动挖山”的精神,直面困难、坚持不懈的品质。同时,学会多方面考虑问题,寻找最便捷的做事方法。二、学情分析 本课时内容是人教版八年级英语下册第六单元的第一个课时,内容包括Section A中的1a到2d的内容,涉及到词汇的学习、以How和What引导的特殊疑问句的操练,以及相关的听力训练。 学生对特殊疑问句并不陌生,且掌握了基本的词汇学习方法和听力技能,同时,本节课内容所涉及的故事也是学生所熟悉的内容。以上均能很好的辅助本节课教学三、重点难点1. 教学重点:1) 口笔头掌握本课时中出现的生词:shoot , stone, weak , god, remind, bit, a little bit, silly, instead of;2) 学会询问故事发展的基本句型:How does the story begin?What happened next?3)学会描述故事中的人物或情节,并发表一些简单的看法或观点。 What do you think of / about the story of Yu Gong? I think its a little bit silly./ I still dont agree with you.2. 教学难点:学会描述故事中的人物或情节,并发表一些简单的看法或观点四、教学方法情景法、任务型教学途径、讨论法、图表法、合作学习、分析及讲解法。五、教学资源与工具多媒体设备、PPT课件(图片、音频、动画)、评价工具。六、教学评价与反思1.形成性评价学生互评:小组间对任务的完成情况进行评价,同学间对各自的表现进行互相评价,积极中肯。但因小组建设不完善,学生间互评不够细致、具体。教师评价:注重对学生参与和表现的情况进行评价,很好的促进了各个环节的开展,但是评价方式还可多样化。2.反思亮点:本堂课,学生非常积极活跃,学习热情高,各环节衔接较流畅且教学任务基本完成。改进之处:词汇还未能熟练掌握,以至在口头表达中不够流畅,影响相关话题的交际。表达观点、看法时,小组意见大体一致,思维局限。因此在教学中还应注意开发学生的思维,丰富学生的想象力和表达力。七、教学过程 SectionA(1a2d) 教学活动活动1【导入】Leadin1.Warming-upAsk students to look at 4 pictures in 1a , then match the pictures and finish Activity 1a.T: Do you like reading stories?Ss: Yes.T: Here I have four pictures about four famous fairy tales. Can you match them with the titles in 1a? (Give Ss 1 minute to finish it, then check the answer, learn the new word shoot by the way.)活动2【讲授】Presentation1.Learn the new words and expressions.Show the new words and expressions on the screen:shoot,stone,weak,remind,silly;once upon a time,solve ones problem,agree with,instead of.Practice reading the words and expressions(a.lead to read;b.read together;c.read group by group.),ask 2-3 volunteers to make sentences by filling the blanks.2.Try to remember the new words and expressions,then do“ask and answer”.(2minutes for students to keep them in mind,the more you remember,the more points can be got.)活动3【活动】Listening1.Look at the pictures and try to describe the 4 pictures in their own words and guess the order.2.Listen and finish 2a,then check the answer.3.Go through 2b,in the key phrases and language points.(unless,as soon as,sothat.),then give proper explanation.4.Listenagain,finish2b,check the answers.活动4【活动】PairworkPairworkRead the three questions in the box of 1c. Ask the students to make conversations by using the three questions in pairs.e.g.A:How does the story happen?B:There were two very tall mountains infront of their house.A:What happened next?B:A very old mantried to move the mountains.A:Where would they put all the earth and stones from the mountains?B:They would put them into the sea.Invite some volunteers to act out the conversations.活动5【活动】GroupworkGroupwork1.Tell Ss to make a story chain.Ss tell the story one by one with the pictures in2a.2.Discussin groups and retell or act out the story together.活动6【活动】Roleplay1.Read the conversations and let Ss read after the teacher.2.Explain the main language points.(more details in PPT).3.Read the conversation together and answer the question“what do you think about the story?”(give related words).活动7【活动】Conclusion1.T: What have you learned in this period?S1: Some words & expressions.S2: Some special questions and answers.2.What did you learn from the story?Anything is possible if you work hard.If you keep trying and never give up, you will succeed.
