Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents?Section A 1 (1a-2a)教学目标: 1.知识目标:(1)words:allow, wrong, hang out , get into (2)sentence: Whats wrong? Im really tried because I studied until midnight last night. Why not sleep earlier tonight? You should talk to your parents . Why dont you talk to him about it?2. 能力目标: (1)能够运用所学知识谈论问题和困难、提出建议 ; (2)能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议。3情感态度价值观目标: 培养学生良好的合作意识,鼓励学生大胆表达自己的想法和意愿。正确认识生活中的一些困难,能采用正确的方式解决生活中的问题。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:Talk about the problems and difficulties in life . 2. 教学难点:能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议。 学会表达建议的一些方式。三、教学过程Step 1 Warming up1. 播放新闻,导入新课。T: Do you have these problems? S: T: what kind of problems do you have?S: Step 2 present the new words Step 3 Discussing1. Look at these problems. Read it by yourself, then talk about it with your partner. Do you think they are serious or not? Finish the column in 1a. I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like. My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends. I have too many after-school classes. I got into a fight with my best friend.2. 齐读、 翻译并与学生讨论这些问题严重与否,鼓励学生大胆阐述自己的观点。Step 4 Give adviceWe have so many serious problems in our life ,if we can not solve ,we will not happy. Right? But how can we solve? Can you give him/her some advice ?出示ppt I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. My advice is,what is your advice? Can you ask and answer like this? OK ,GO先同桌操练,然后找学生表演,最后总结。If we want to give advice we can use this pattern , right?Why not +v原?Why do not you ?Step 5 Listening 1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in 1a again. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the problems you hear in 1a. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss.4. Play the recording the last time, let Ss repeat.板书重点句子,继续总结提建议的句型。You should You couldStep 6 Pair work on 1c1. Let one pair to read out the conversation first. 2. Use the information in 1a to make other conversations. 3. Let some pairs act out their conversations. e.g. A: Whats wrong? B: I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like.A: Why dont you talk to your parents? Step7 Listening Work on 2a: T: Peter has some problems. What advice does his friend give him? Fill in the blanks with could or should. 1. Let Ss read the sentences in 2a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the words in the blank. 3.
