(2) The sentence structure:Whats the matter?I have a headache/stomachache/toothache/sore back/sore throatYou should lie down and rest / etc.2. Warming up ,“Do you know your body well? Today lets go on a bodys trip.” First help the students to say the names of the body parts that they have learnt. 2.The teacher points and says the names of any body parts students dont know and present the words on the screen .Teach them to read the words.3.Have a practice reading the new wordsStep II Presentation1. Ask the students to look at the pictures in 1a. Write the correct letter after the name of each body part on the list .Check the answers . 2. Group work : Play a game .All the Ss close your books ,well have an instructor to say :Touch your nose /head /right ear .Lets see which student do it correctly and quickly .First all the Ss do this game .Then have competitions between boys and girls .5 boys and 5girls to the front to do what the instructor said .if you are wrong ,please go back to your seats ,the last one who stands at the front is the winner .3. Present some pictures of the people who are ill, teach the new sentence pattern and the new words: Whats the matter? I have a headache./ I have a stomachache. Get the students to repeat and explain the meanings of the words and sentences. Then ask the other people and learn the illness such as: have a cold/fever, have a stomachache/toothache, have a sore back/sore throat, ect.4.Pair work: Ask the students to ask and answer the people in the picture using the sentences: Whats the matter?
