The man was sleepless last night. 基础知识。一般过去时1. 定义：一般过去时表示过去某一时间所发生的动作或存在的状态。2. 两种基本用法:a) 表示某人过去已发生的动作。汉语中常用“了”来表示。如Task I中的例句_。b) 表示某人过去存在的状态。如Task I中的例句_。3. 动词变化规则: 规则动词过去式的变化规则请参见下表规则动词过去式的构成原形过去式一般情况下在动词原形后加edaskasked以e结尾的动词后加dargueargued以辅音字母+y结尾的动词，变y 为i，再加edhurryhurried以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词，先双写这个辅音字母，再加edplanplanned注:不规则动词的过去式需要逐个记忆。常见的不规则动词过去式表见课本P91。拓展学习。1. 一般过去时态的构成：含be动词的过去时态：a) 陈述句：肯定式为“主语+was (were) +表语”，否定式为“主语+was (were) +not+表语” 。例如：I was late yesterday.b) 一般疑问句：Was (Were) +主语+表语？例如：Were you ill yesterday? 肯定回答为Yes, I was；否定回答为No, I wasnt。c) 特殊疑问句： 特殊疑问词+ _ +主语+表语？例如：When were you born?含实义动词的过去时态：a) 陈述句：肯定式为“主语+ _+其他”。例如：I wrote a diary yesterday.否定式为“主语+didnt +动词原形+其他”。例如：I didnt write a diary yesterday. b) 一般疑问句：Did +主语+动词原形+其他？例如：Did you go home yesterday?肯定回答为Yes, I did；否定回答为No, I didnt。c) 特殊疑问句：1) 疑问词+did+主语+_+其他？例如：What did you do yesterday afternoon?2) 疑问词作主语时：疑问词+ _ + 其他？例如：Who went to your home just now?2. 表示过去的时间状语观察分析Task I中的例句，我们可归纳一些构成过去时间状语的规律如下：用一个具有过去意义的名词表示时间状语。例如：yesterday(见Task I中的例句4)、the day before yesterday。“last + 时间名词”表示时间状语。例如：last Monday、 last year (见Task I中的例句1)。“时间名词 + ago”表示时间状语。例如：a week ago (见Task I中的例句2)、 five minutes ago。when引导的时间状语从句表示过去。例如：when they were young (见Task I中的例句3)、 when he came home。除以上四种表示过去的时间状语外，常用的还有如just now、in 1980 (过去年份）、in the past、at the age of 10 (过去年龄段）和in the old days等。用动词的正确形式填空。1.
