Marketing Strategy:4.1PricePalace restaurant aimed at the United States white-collar workers so the price will at the market but at the beginning in order to enter the Chinese restaurant market rapidly it will be a penetration price. 4.2PromotionPalace restaurant will have advertising campaign. We will advertise in newspapers, magazines and on television, websites. The restaurant will have a sales promotion like in the first open week every customer will have a 20% discount. Try to gain favorable publicity and minimize negative publicity for the restaurant. 4.3DistributionPalace restaurant sell organic food dishes so it need to buy organic food from some farm near San Francisco to decrease the physical distribution fee. Besides, the restaurant will find a fixed and lasting cooperation to the farmers. Thus, farmers may give a discount to the restaurant which also can cut the cost.4.4Product/ServiceWe are ready for operation of upscale restaurants, so we need to have some American cultural traits, such as focus on the service and environment as well as on the food for some improvement etc. Palace restaurant sell organic food dishes, although organic food is expensive but quality is guaranteed and organic food dishes are good for peoples health. This restaurant looks like the summer palace in Beijing which will provide an elegant and unique environment and attentive service.5. Operational Issues:Palace restaurant is a traditional Chinese diet culture restaurant, located in San Franciscos China Town. Tourism, the citys largest private-sector employer, is the backbone of the San Francisco economy. Thus I think the location will bring lots of benefits. Not only local people will come to the restaurant, but also some people who are travel and China Town is one of the tourist spot. This restaurant looks like the summer palace in Beijing which will provide an elegant and unique environment and attentive service. In this restaurant customers can enjoy a variety of Chinese food with different but fantastic and mouthwatering flavor. The farmers will supply the organic material which is fresh and health. We also will pay attention to hygiene standards.For example, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will be sent to the central kitchen management supervision.Once in a non-refrigerated food status 4 hours should be drained, packaging and transport links can not be errors.6. Human Resources Requirement:Advertised for 3 cooks, 5 waters, 1 cashier. Make an interview with the applicants. The cook can make traditional Chinese food. But it also welcome if he can create some dishes with American taste which will adored by American. The waters need to provide comprehensive,fast,accurateservice. Besides they also need to wear traditional costume and wear smile on their faces. The cashier needs to Familiar with the cash register operations and proficient inthe checkoutequipment operating skills.The staff may also have some training and development lessons so that they can performance better and have high turnovers. If the profit of the restaurant is good, they will have bonuses and higher wages. 7. Financial Projections:The opening expenses may 300000 dollar.
