八年级英语Unit 3 Could you please clean your room?教学设计乐亭县新寨初级中学 张丽荣一、教学目标:1)知识和技能:1.重点词汇:chore(s), do the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the rubbish, make the bed, fold ones clothes, clean the living room/bedroom2.重点句型:Could you please do the dishes?- Yes, sure./Sure. Sorry, I cant. I have to do my homework.2)过程和方法: Ss can make requests politely.3)情感态度和价值观:Make requests politely and be helpful.二、教学重、难点:How to make polite request, and share housework at home.三、教学预设特色与创新:通过本堂课的教学,要让大部分学生学会掌握各种家务活的英语说法,学会用英语礼貌地向别人提出请求及其回答。因此在教学过程中设计了一些很受学生欢迎的教学环节和活动:视频导入,游戏,pairwork, groupwork,还有各环节之间的自然过渡,通过这些符合学生心理特征及激发学生兴趣的教学活动,达成让学生脱口而出地使用本节课的目标语言的目的。四、教学准备:Textbook,teaching plan,learning plan,PPT.五、教学过程:教学环节:呈现任务和目标视频引入学习新知二人合作听录音打勾和填空小组合作,展示本课小结布置作业。Step Leading-in1. T: Good morning, boys and girls! Ss: Good morning.T: Today I am glad to be your English teacher. Nice to meet you!Ss: Nice to meet you, Helen!2. T: Womens Day is coming. I think you are very happy like me. Wed better do something for our mothers. Could you please help your mother at home, OK?We must finish this task, (Show the task)3. If you want to finish the task, you must learn the following, (show language goals of this period)Step Presentation and drill1. Watch a video and talk about them. Play a video. After finishing watching the video.What kind of chores are mentioned in the video?(take out the rubbish,make the bed ,fold the clothes ,clean the floor ,do the dishes.)2. Previewcheck.Look at the pictures and say: T: What chore is Helen doing? Ss: She is doing the dishes. Check the others in the same way.3. Teach the words and phrases. Ss read them in different ways.4. Enlarge vocabulary.T: You have known these chores, what other chores do you know? Talk with each other in your group. Lets see which group knows the most?Step PairworkT:I think you always do chores, what chores do you do at home ? How often do you do it ? Please tell your partner. Work in pairs as following:A: What chores do you do at home? B: I do the dishes at home.A: How often do you do it? B: Twice a week/ Often /First Ss repeat after the teacher, then ask the Ss to work in pairs.Check some pairs.Step Discussion Should we do chores at home?Work in groups and discuss about it.
