Free-talk &Lead-inThe teacher is going to play a part from CCTV news and have an interaction with the students.Do you like it? Why or why not?What kind of TV show is it? (present the new word “news”)Do you know any other kinds of TV shows?(1) The students are going to watch a video from CCTV news.(2) They are going to have an interaction with the teacher, answering some questions.(3) They are going to be encouraged to talk about any TV shows they know.通过导列问题链设计和学生的回答检查学生对单词的预习前置性学习。创设情境,引导学生观,思,说,并起到换旧铺新的作用。(前置性学习)Step2. Presentation(1) The teacher is going to present a picture of I want to appear on the stage of Chinese New Year Performance. (我要上春晚) and have an interaction with students.T: Do you know this TV show?S: Yes. Its 我要上春晚from CCTV.T: Yeah, its I want to appear on the stage of Chinese New Year Performance .What kind of TV show is it?S: Its a talent show. (the teacher is going to write the phrase on the Bb and teach it)T: Do you like it?Ss: Yes, I do. /No. becauseT: (Draw two happy faces next to the picture) I love it. I can learn a lot from it. (Write the word “love” on the Bb)(2) The teacher is going to present some other kinds of TV shows (sitcom, talk show, soap opera, game show, sports show, sitcom) and the emotional phrases (like, dont mind, dont like, cant stand) in the same way. (1) The students are going to look at some pictures and say the names of the TV show. (They can say in Chinese if they dont know how to say it in English.)(2) The students are going to guess the kinds of the shows according(3) The students are going to read the new words and phrases (4) The students are going to read the new words and phrases one by one and try to remember them. 通过情景设置和free-talk等活动接受新知,把握好重难点,知识点,便于生成性指导。在教师的引导下学生的现有旧知被唤醒,起到了复习巩固的作用。新知的呈现不单以传授,更多让学生自己自主输出,教师适时知道。操作要素1,3的结合。Step3. Match the TV shows with the pictures.(2) Some students are going to have an interaction with the teacher, answering some questions.(3) All students are going to make their own dialogues in pairs according to the sentence pattern on the blackboard.(4) Some pairs of students are going to act out their dialogues.各项操练任务,体现活动的多样性。操作要素3的体现。Step 4. Listening(1) The teacher is going to ask students to finish 1b.(2) The teacher designs some questions to help students pick out the information from the listening material.What does Mark plan to do?What does Jack think of talk shows?Does Jack like the news?What does Jack think of talent shows?Does Mark want to watch the soccer game? How about Jack?(3) The teacher will play the recording sentence by sentence, asking students to imitate.(4) The teacher is going to ask students to make their own conversations(1) The students will listen and finish 1b. Interview(1) The teacher is going to show this Sundays time-table of CCTV programs for the students.(2) The teacher is going to divide the students in groups of 4 and arrange the tasks for each member.One is a reporter from CCTV news. Interview your group mates: You can use these questions:What do they want to watch this Sunday?What time does it start?How long is the program?What do you think of ?How do you like ?Why?Do you plan on watchthis Sunday? Make a report after interviewing.(3) The teacher is going to walk around the classroom and offer help.(1) The students are going to work in groups of 4. One is the interviewer, and the others are the interviewees.(2) The interviewers are going to interview their group mates some questions and take some notes.
