Unit5 The seasons(复习课) 牛津小学英语6B一、教案背景1、学生分析:本节课的授课对象是本校六年级学生。本校在英语课程设置上每周的课时一直很足,故学生有较强的英语技能,在英语听、说、读、写方面均有不俗的表现。在此之前,学生已经结束 The seasons 单元所有的新课教授,本课是在此基础上的一堂复习课。2、本堂课设计的立足点:本堂复习课并不仅仅是单词、词组,句型的拼写运用,而是强调学生在听、说、读、写尤其是说和写方面的能力,引导学生将已有的词、句整合成篇,甚至可以认为是一堂口语及作文辅导课。3、教学内容:牛津小学英语6BUnit5复习课4、教学目标:(一)认知目标1复习第五单元的词汇、短语、句子,要求四会掌握。(见苏教版牛津英语6B教学参考书。)2三会一些谚语:Years plan starts with spring. An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening. No pains, no gains. In unity, there is strength. After rain comes fair weather.3四会拓展内容:harvest, Fruits and crops are ripe.(二)能力目标:1能用所学知识在特定情境中进行交流。2使学生提高听、说、读、写综合运用语言的能力。(三)情感目标 1通过开展多样的语言交际活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生产生用英语进行交流的积极情感。2通过一些谚语和生活中的现实培养学生良好的人生观和生活态度及习惯。5、教学重难点:使学生能用所学知识在特定情境中熟练地进行交流,大量地练说,并将所说形成一篇作文。6、教学准备:多媒体课件二、教学过程:Step 1 :Greetings and free talk. 1 GreetingsT: Boys and girls, nice to meet you.S: Nice to meet you, too.T: Welcome to my class, Im Miss Li, I hope well have a wonderful English class together. First lets have a free talk.2.Free talk.What date is it today?(板书)What day is it today? (板书)Whats the weather like today? (板书) What season is it now?How many seasons are there in a year? What are they? Whats your favourite season? Why?(设计意图:通过与学生的自由对话,消除孩子的陌生感,让孩子快速进入学习状态,同时,对话紧扣单元内容,为接下来的教学做铺垫和导入。)Step 2 :Presentation.导入今天的话题“weather and seasons”。 T:I think all of you have your own f avourite season,we can do different thingsin each season 。Today,our topic is “weather and seasons”。( 多媒体呈现标题:weather and seasons)Weather()T: The first key word is “weather” .( 多媒体呈现) .There are many kinds of weather, look at the screen, can you say?( 屏幕呈现气象图标:多云的、有风的、有雨的、晴朗的 、有雪的,学生看图说,老师点击呈现。)(设计意图:复习本单元的四会单词,为后面的教学做准备。)()做相关习题。T: Next, lets do some exercises, choose the correct words.(屏幕呈现习题.)1. cloud cloudyLook, theres a big _.Its _ today.2. wind windyThe _ is cold in winter. In Nantong, sometimes its _ in winter.T(边展示课件边总结): 刚才我们所说到的五组词当中分别有一个名词和形容词,其中的rain和 snow 除了有雨、雪的含义,还有下雨、下雪的含义. For example: Listen! Its raining now.It rained yesterday.It often rains in spring in Nantong.Look, its snowing now.It snowed just now.It often snows in winter.(设计意图: 习题用于区分五组关于气候的名词及形容词的用法:sun, sunny; wind, windy; cloud, cloudy; rain, rainy; snow, snowy ;并拓展rain ,snow作为动词的用法。高年级学生对于一些语法的踏实掌握是必须的.)seasons.()导入第二个关键词seasons T: The weather in four seasons is different from each other, our second key word is -seasons.( 多媒体呈现seasons) Four seasons make a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. ()springa.T: Spring is the first season of a year. Lets talk about it first. (呈现spring单词)When you see this word, what can you think of? Please tell me.(让学生自由说,老师适当提示,Whats the weather like in spring in Rudong? What can you do in spring? 引导学生展开想象,尽可能多地说与春天有关的句子)S:.b.T对学生的描述给予总结:In a word, spring is we can do a lot of things in it. (设计意图: 从视觉、听觉方面充分引导孩子,让孩子尽量地开口说英语,用英语表达自己心中所想。)c.介绍谚语: Years plan starts with spring. An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening.一年之计在于春,一天之计在于晨。 T: Let me introduce you a idiom. (多媒体呈现Years plan starts with spring.) It means spring is the beginning of a year. If you have good plans for spring , you can have good plans for the whole year. Clear? S:(多媒体呈现An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening.)T: Do you know what does it mean?(学生尽可能多的用英语回答, 老师适当补充. eg: We can do exercise, we can read books, its the best time to remember)()summera.由一个谜面引出一个太阳,从而引出summer. T: Children, I have a riddle for you. We all have a good friend. Hes red, hes round. We can see it on days, we cant see it at nights, and we cant live without it. Can you guess, whos he? S: The sun. T: Yes, hes Mr Sun.(课件呈现一个流汗的太阳.) Whats the matter with Mr Sun? S: Hes hot. T: Youre right. Hes hot in summer.( 多媒体呈现 summer)b.T从自己对夏天的不太喜欢谈起,进而与学生谈论他们对夏天的看法,从而对夏天的气候及各种活动进行了谈论。 T: I dont like summer. Because its too hot . I dont like going out on hot days. But I think, some of you like summer. Maybe you can swim with your best friend , you can eat delicious ice creams. Who like summer best? why? S:c.谈论今年夏天在北京举行的奥运会。 T: Just now I told you I dont like going out in summer, but this summer, I will go to Beijing .Do you know, what am I going to do?(引出北京奥运会的话题, 并就此与学生聊一聊相关的一些知识,并带领学生一起为北京奥运加油.) (设计意图:将学生所学知识与日常生活紧密联系在一起,激发孩子用英语进行交流的兴趣,谈论身边的人和事,从情感上达成共识。)()autumna. T: Children, do you know which season do I like best? I can tell you, autumn is my favourite season. (引出秋天, 多媒体呈现autumn。)b. T(描述喜欢秋天的理由): I like autumn best. The weather in autumn is ususlly cool.Its comfortable. I like going camping in autumn. But the most important thing is autumn is a harvest season . (课件呈现单词harvest, 让学生自己介绍已经预习的harvest, 正音,释义,) T: In autumn, fruits and crops are ripe.( 多媒体呈现这句话,也让学生自己介绍已经预习的新单词crop, ripe及句子,正音,释义,作为补充知识。) 老师引导学生将上面两处新授整合成一段话, 如: Autumn is a harvest season, in it, fruits and crops are ripe.c.呈现关于秋天的几幅图片。 T: Let me show you some photos.(设计意图: 图片是关于秋天丰收场景的, 沉甸甸挂满枝头的水果, 一望无际的金色的麦穗田, 因丰收而喜笑颜开的老农等等, 让学生从视觉上直接领略到秋天的美好景象, 由衷的感受到秋天是一个收获的季节.)d.呈现谚语No pains, no gains. T: Autumn is a harvest season. You should remember:(呈现谚语) No pains, no gains. If you want to get a harvest , you should work hard, everything! (5)wintera.由一首chant引出winterT: Children, lets enjoy a little rhymes.(呈现图,文,声音。).The weather is freezing,The snow is falling,The wind is blowing,The boys are skating,The girls are sleighing,Bears are sleeping,The world is resting.(设计意图:节奏感较强的chant能够很好地吸引孩子的注意力,让他们以猜谜的形式可以充分调动他们的积极性。)b.谈论冬天的气候,从而谈到雪,谈论雪的两面性。好的方面通过介绍谚语A snow year, a rich year.体现。不好的方面用图片展示雪灾的场景,进行情感教育,最后鼓励他们:In unity, there is strength. After rain comes fair weather.(设计意图: 情感教育在教学中一直是被积极倡导的,此时让孩子们通过一张张真实的雪灾图片,感受到雪灾给人类带来的灾难,同时适时地进行鼓励,引出相关的谚语,对孩子的人生观给予正面积极的引导。)(6)colours引导学生用四种颜色来描述四个季节,green, red, yellow, white,将学生分成相应的四组,(设计意图:为后面的小组合作环节作铺垫。)Step 3:Wr.ite a composition.a. 让各小组开火车读已准备好的句子。b. 选四个小组长,带领组员将句子整合成为一篇作文。c. 利用投影仪让各组展示作文,互相找错,根据作文的内容选出获胜者。Step 4 :Consolidation让学生带着问题观看一段有趣的英语卡通片,第一次观看前问两个简单的问题,第二次观看前问题增多增难。第一次观看前的问题: Who are they? (片中的两个主人公)第二次观看前的问题:1.What do Tod and Copper love to do?2.When is Copper going away?3.How does Tod feel when Copper go away?4.When do the birds fly away?5.Does Tod have a new friend in summer?(设计意图:学生对卡通片是很感兴趣的,我给他们观看的片子也是关于四季的,同时里面含有情结性的小故事,很有意思,拓展了孩子们的视野和知识面。)Step 5 :Sum up.根据板书从weather 和seasons两方面总结整个单元T: Today, we talked about weather and seasons. (边总结边贴板书。)In spring, its warm, sometimes its windy, sometimes its rainy. In summer, its hot, its often rainy. In autumn, its cool, its always windy and sunny. In winter, its cold, sometimes its snowy.(设计意图:我认为在一堂课结束的时候,对当堂课进行相应的总结是很有必要的,让孩子对所学内容有一个整体的概念,也起到一个复习、巩固的作用。)Step 6 :EndSay goodbye.三、课后反思 今天我所教的是牛津小学英语6B第五单元The seasons的一堂复习课。起初在设计这堂课的时候,我考虑到大家的进度第五单元应该早结束了,而且应该有过至少一轮的复习,学生对于本单元的单词、短语、句型、语法、课文应该四会掌握得很好,如果从这方面去着手,我觉得没有多大意义,于是我就想到高年级学生在听、说、读、写四项要求中,“说”方面的能力可以进一步的去提拔,因而设计了这样一堂以学生“说”为主的课。 本堂课我的设计宗旨是以老师有效提问为引导,让学生成为学习的主体,主动寻求方法解决问题。 首先我以询问日期、星期、天气、季节、学生喜欢的季节及理由作为free talk与学生展开对话,一方面调协学生的情绪,另一方面为今天的教学主题”weather and seasons”作铺垫。 在有关weather这一复习环节中,我以认图及做习题的方式带领学生回顾各种气候,复习本单元的重点语法之一
