备战中考丨第八讲形容词中考对形容词的考查涉及形容词原级、比较级和最高级的各种句型、形容词作定语的位置、易混淆的形容词用法辨析等。其中，形容词比较等级句型、形容词修饰不定代词something, anything, everything, nothing时的位置，易混淆的形容词用法辨析等是考查的热点。形容词的比较级和最高级（一）形容词比较级和最高级的构成规则1.一般单音节词和少数以-y, -er, -ow, -ble结尾的双音节词，比较级在后面加-er，最高级在后面加-est；如：small smaller smallest slow slower slowest2.以不发音e结尾的单音节词，比较级在原级后加-r，最高级在原级后加-st；如：large larger largest nice nicer nicest 3.在重读闭音节（即：辅音元音辅音）中，先双写末尾的辅音字母，比较级加-er，最高级加-est；如：big bigger biggest hot hotter hottest 4.以“辅音字母y”结尾的双音节词, 把y改为i,比较级加-er，最高级加-est；如：easy easier easiest heavy heavier heaviest5.其他双音节词和多音节词,比较级在前面加more,最高级在前面加most；如：beautiful more beautiful most beautiful6.有少数形容词的比较级和最高级是不规则的,必须熟记。如：good better best well better bestbad/ill worse worst little less leastold older/elder oldest/eldestmany/much more mostfar further/farther furthest/farthest【助记口诀】：好坏多少，二远二老。注意1.形容词最高级前通常必须用定冠the,副词最高级前可不用。如：The Sahara is the biggest desert in the world.2.形容词most前面没有the,不表示最高级的含义,只表示非常。It is a most important problem.=It is a very important problem.注意1.very, quite一般只能修饰原级,不能修饰比较级。2.修饰比较级的词有a little, a bit ,a few , a lot ,much, even, still, far, rather, any等表程度。3.比较级和最高级可以互换。例如：Linda is the most intelligent student in her class.=Linda is more intelligent than any other student in her class.琳达是她班里最聪明的学生。4.序数词通常只修饰最高级。Africa is the second largest continent.5.要避免将主语含在比较对象中。(错)China is larger thanany country in Asia.(对)China is larger than any other country in Asia.6.要注意对应句型，遵循前后一致的原则。The population of Shanghai is larger than that of Beijing.It is easier to make a plan than to carry it out.7.-ed结尾的形容词修饰人，-ing结尾的形容词修饰物。Im interested in the interestingbook.8.一倍：once;二倍：twice;三倍以上：基数词+times五常考句型1.“Its +adj.+of+sb. +to do sth.”表示“某人（做某事）怎么样”。多使用修饰人的形容词，如：good, kind, nice, polite, clever,foolish, lazy, careful, careless, right, wrong等。如:Its very kind of you to help me.2.“Its+adj.+for+sb+to do sth.”或者“Its +adj.+that从句”，表示“做某事对于某人来说怎么样”。多使用修饰物的形容词，如:difficult, easy, hard, dangerous, safe, useful, pleasant, interesting, impossible等。如：Its very difficult for us to learn English.3.“Its + adj. + to do sth.”,“表示做某事怎么样。”用表示感情或情绪的形容词，如：glad, pleased, sorry, sad, thankful等以及表示能力和意志的形容词，如:ready, able, sure, certain等如:Its glad to see you.Its certain to speak English every day.典型例题【考点一】形容词原级比较1.I dont think history is more useful than physics.I disagree.
