Because that is related to their real life. This period focus on 3 ways to describe peoples appearance, including height, build, and hair. After learning this period, students can describe different people and then they can communicate with each other in this way.Teaching aims1. Language goals 1) New words: curly, straight, tall, medium, thin, heavy, build, tonight, little, cinema, glasses, later 2)Sentences: What does he look like? Hes of medium/build. What does he look like? She has long straight hair. Is he tall or short?2. Abilityaims1)Students can describe peoples look, and make conversations with others.2)Students be able to understand the conversations about describing the looks of people.3. Emotionalaims1)Let students learn how to describe people look objectively and friendly.2)Make students know that we cant judge a person or make friends on his look.TeachingkeypointsanddifficultiesKey points 1.Students should use the words and sentences fluently in their daily life. Show the video to students and teach them to sing the song .This song is about the looks of some animals.2.
