Task1: Read the story quickly and answer the following two questions. Students may have 3 minutes to reading the story then discuss the questions with their group members. Then show the answers.a. When students are reading, tell them to pay attention to the details.1. When did the story happen?2. What did Nancy say when her mother ask her to take the dog for a walk?3. Ask students to discuss the questions with their group members and each group answer one question.4. Task3: Reading the sentences on the screen and then put them in correct order according to the story. My dog welcomed me when I came back from school. We didnt do any housework for a week. My mom asked me to take the dog for a walk. My mom said nothing and walked away. My mom got angry with me and I shouted back. I understand that we need to share housework.5.
