Unit 9 Hes kind to Children【第二课时】【教学目标】I. 语言目标:1词汇:复习巩固单词kind, friendly, smart, active, serious;会听、会说、会读单词或短语:writer, favourite, help, with, want, talk.2句型:能用“He/ She is.”、“He/ She looks.”简单介绍自己或他人的外貌及其性格特点.II. 应用目标:1能创设23种情境介绍自己或他人的外貌特征及性格及特点.2能借助插图阅读和理解课文D部分的小短文,完成根据课文判断信息正误的读后活动.【教学重难点】1重点:能简单介绍自己或他人的外貌和性格特点;能借助插图阅读和理解课文D部分的小短文.2难点:D部分语篇中出现了气个时间状语从句“When he is working, he looks very serious.”教师要多在情境中给学生一些例句,让学生理解这个语法现象.【教学准备】单词卡片、家庭成员的相片、人物漫画、信息表、教学音频、教学动画等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).【教学过程】I. 热身/复习 (Warm-up/ Revision)1Free talk.2Revision.(1)Relay race接力活动:每排学生读一个单词,一排接一排进行单词或短语认读.kind, friendly, smart, active, serious, strict, beautiful, pretty, big, tall, fat, plain, ugly, wise, quiet, calm, sad, funny, naughty, saw pictures, made notes, asked questions, listened to stories, took pictures.(2)反义词游戏教师说出一个形容词,如tall,请学生快速说出它的反义词,看看谁的反应快.(这个游戏也可分组在同学之间进行.)tall short shortlong bigsmall beautifuluglygood bad happysad smartfoolish(3)学生从教师手中随意抽取一张形容词卡片,用“He/ She has.”、“He/ She is.”或“He/ She looks.”造句.(4)听课文B部分录音,跟读B部分单词.II. 趣味练习 (Practice)1教师口头介绍自己家庭某成员的外貌及性格特征(展示人物照片).2学生拿出照片或肖像漫画,两人一组相互介绍自己家庭某成员的外貌及性格特征.3抽34组学生表演.III. 趣味阅读 (Lets read)第一步听课文,抓主旨.T: Look, this is Linglings uncle. He is a writer. Please read the text, try to find what Linglings uncle look like and what he is doing.
