I am studying at Guangdong University of Technology. 3.Can you tell me something about your study experience? In the past three years. I spent most of my time on studying. In my opinion, it is more important to have experiment in the laboratory than just gain knowledge from books. So I often go to the laboratory to do some experiment to learn how to use the instrument or how to design something by Single-chip Computer.4.Have you taken part in any competition or activities? Have you got any prize? What have you learned from these competitions and activities？ Yes, I have taken part in the electric design competition. And I got the third place. I have designed a fans that can self-regular according to temperature and humidity. From this competitions, I have improve my ability in programing and realized the important of cooperation. 5.What is your major？What is it about？Why did you choose this major at the very beginning？ Do you like it？ My major isSuyveying and Control Technology and Instrumentation. It is a very broad major. I have learn basic knowledge and ability in engineering testing technology and computer measurement and control. At the very beginning, I choose this major because I am interested in Computer and the advanced information technology. 6.Can you tell me some of main courses you have learned in the university? What have learned in these courses? I have study many different course. Analog and Digitalelectronics Technology Principles of Automatic Control Microcomputer Principle and Application Single Chip Microcomputer and Interface Technology Computer Networks Designing of Advanced Programming Language Some machine or instrument and some software. And now I focus on Embedded system. Analog and Digital electronics Technology Different between analog signals and digital signals. Some methods to analysis and handle different electronic signal and Analog-to-Digital Conversion. Principles of Automatic ControlI have learned theoretical base for mechanization and automation, employing methods from mathematics and engineering. And how toanalyze and design a system that can self-regulate. Microcomputer Principle and Application In this course, I have learned the principles and construction of 80x86 cpu and how to make full use to work for us through the programs that we designed. Single Chip Microcomputer and Interface Technology It is about the theory ofsingle-chip microcomputer. I have learn the construction of MCS-51. And usingassembler or C languageto design it to work in the automatic control and any other field. Computer NetworksThe composition and principle of the computer networks. About the theory and function of different layer and different protocol and some application with computer networks.Designing of Advanced Programming Language It is the basic skill for a Computer learner. To develop software. To design the Single-chip computer or embedded system. Embedded system I have comprehended a more advance processorARM. Now I am trying to familiar with the linux and use C language to develop some easy program. In last summer holiday, I have worked in Guangzhou measuring writing and drawing Company as an intern. I assisted my boss to complete a program about developing a privacy software. And I worked in some programming project.8.What field do you want to pursue in our university? And why? I want to pursue the Master of Science in computer engineering. As you know, my major, which is Surveying and control technology and Instrumentation, covers a wide range of engineering science knowledge. But I believe all of the courses are useful for me and they can offer me a basic ability to learn much more advanced technology and science. Actually I think what I really interested in is the technology about the computer and network since the first touch of computer when I was just a primary student. With information technology rapidly developed，there is nothing faster than the development of computer science. And now what I am interested in is about the cloud computer, which I think will be the most potential technology in the future. Cloud Computing is Internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand. I want to set up my future career goal on this feild and I do believe your program can provide me the solid academic background and practical competence for my future development. Thats why I want to choose your university.10.What is your academic strength?As I mention before, my major its broad, but I feel that what I have learn its more approach to hardware. So I think I am familiar with the construction of different hardware. Secondly, I have spent many times to learn the single-chip microcomputer. So I think I have the ability to write a program with C language or assembler. Thirdly, I am familiar with the system of windows and linux, its great help for me to study different software in different system more quickly. In addition, I have strong hands-on ability, since my main courses include many kinds of experimented courses.11.What do you think is your disadvantage? How are you going to improve it? On one hand, what I most focus on it is the hardware. So, to develop a software or to build a website is needed further study. I will use more time to improve it by myself. On the other hand, I think sometimes I may spent too much time on computer game. I should set a schedule to make full use of my time.12.What do you think is your advantage?
