安徽省“一师一优课,一课一名师”活动人教版八年级上册英语教学设计执教者:安徽省阜阳市太和县城关中心校 徐晓莉Unit9 Can you come to my party?Section A 1 a 1c)设计理念及背景:本节课采用的是任务型教学(TaskBased Teaching)模式,教学设计和教学过程,应充分发挥学生的主体地位、教师的主导作用。本节课要求学生学习如何提出邀请以及如何回复,包括接受与谢绝。采取了对话表演的形式,让学生在语言环境中运用语言,感受到英语学习的乐趣。本节课教学内容不是很多,因此课上时间比较充足。课上主要讲解怎样对人提出邀请,接受邀请或者拒绝邀请。针对本节课的教学重、难点,着重操练了have to do/ must/be going to 的用法和句型Can you come to my party?的应用。新课标英语八年级上册第九单元,围绕邀请这一话题展开。本节课(Section A 1a-1c)主要内容是学习如何礼貌地发出邀请以及如何回复;适当的谈论自己已有的计划或安排。课程内容并不复杂,易于学生接受。八年级学生已经具备较好的语言交际能力,能较完整的进行对话练习。因此,我尝试开展课堂Pair work, Group work问答式的口语交际活动,并以分组抢答的形式进行听力训练。I. Teaching Aims:a. Knowledge objects:Words and phrases: prepare for an exam, go to the doctor, have flu, help my parents, meet my friend Key sentences:-Can you come to my party?-Sure, Id love to. That would be nice./That sounds great. /Sorry, I cant. I have to/must/am going tob. Ability objects:a. Get students to know how to make, accept and decline invitations. b. The usage of have to/mustc. Moral object:Its polite to refuse ones invitation if you cant go.II. Teaching difficult points: a. Make invitations with can.b. How to make invitations, accept and decline invitations and reasonsIII. Teaching Methods:Listening and speaking methods; Communicative approach; Pair work; Groupwork.IV. Teaching Aids: Power point; A tape recorderV. Teaching ProceduresStep 1 Lead-inT: Good morning! Show a picture of cake, and then ask: What is it? Do you like it? Tomorrow is my birthday. I want to have a birthday party. I invited some of my friends, they are Tom, Jim, Kate and Jane, but they couldnt come to my party, I feel sorry. Can you come to my party? Now lets begin our new lesson Unit9 Can you come to my party? Section A(1a-1c) (Write it on the blackboard.)向学生提出邀请,自然过渡到本节课的主题。Step 2 Presentationa. Ask the students to look at the power point and answers. b. Ask the students to look at the power point and teach the phrases:prepare for an exam, go to the doctor, have flu, help my parents, meet my friend并将以下对话写在黑板上。-Can you with me?-Sure, Id love to . That would be nice./That sounds great. -Sorry, I cant. I have to/must/am going toStep 3 Pair workWith the help of my pictures that I gave on the screen. Ask the students to work in pairs like this:A: Can you come to my party on Wednesday?B: Sure, Id love to.C: Sorry, I cant. I must prepare for an exam.D: Im sorry, too. I have to go to the doctor. 利用刚刚所学的向对方提出、接受或拒绝邀请,做到学以致用,及时巩固。为下面的听力做准备。Step 4 listening (1)GuessT: lets watch the picture carefully, Sun Ning is going to have a birthday party this Saturday afternoon. He wants to invite his friends to his party. Can you guess who can come to his party and who cant. Now lets listen to the recording and write down the names to the correct persons in the picture. 由谈论图片切入听力练习,衔接自然。(2)Divide the students into five groups. Then ask the students to listen again, and finish the blanks.(3)Listen again and fill in the blanks.Sun Ning: Hey, Ted. Can you come to my _ on Saturday afternoon?Ted: Im _,I cant, Sun Ning. I have to _ my parents.Sun Ning: Too bad. How about you, Jenny? Can you come to my party?Jenny: Id _ _.Sun Ning: Tim? What about you? Tim: When is it? What a small party!这一部分是为了通过听力训练,让同学们掌握本课的目标短语和句型。(4)Have the students act out the listening conversation.这一部分是为了口头训练,让同学们掌握本课的目标句型,为下文的Pairwork作铺垫。Step 5 Groupwork: Student A invite five students to your party,students B,C,D,give the answers.A: Good afternoon, Tom. Are you free this Sunday? B: Whats up? (什么事)A:Can you with me?B: Sure,C: sorry,I cant,I have to/must.Thanks for asking.A: Maybe, next time.D:E:Step6 Practice中考链接:补全对话。Ted: Hi, Bill. _1_Bill: This afternoon? Yes, I am.Ted: We are going to have a baseball game._2_Bill: _3_But Im afraid I cant. I have to go to the doctor.Ted: To go to the doctor? Why? Whats the matter?(怎么啦)Bill: I have the flu.Ted: Im sorry to hear that._4_Bill: Sure._5_A. Are you free this afternoon?B. Thanks for asking. C. Yes, Id love to.D. Maybe next time. E. Can you come?Step 7 Writing首先看PPT上老师给的生日请帖的格式,根据下面乔老师和同学的对话,帮乔老师写请帖:A: Good afternoon, Tom. Are you free this Sunday? B: Whats up? (什么事)A: My birthday is coming. Can you come to my party?B: Sure, Id love to, when is it?A: This Sunday, at 9:30 pm.B: Where is it?A: In my home, 25th Taibo RoadB: Ok, Thanks for asking.A: Youre welcome. Come and join us.对课程内容进行适当的拓展,让学生写请帖,让本课学生的学习行为有所收获,达到提升的效果和本课的开始相呼应。Step 8 Summary 让学生对本堂课进行总结,使学生更加明确本堂课的
