Unit 3 Where did you go ? B. Lets talk单位:滦县第二实验小学 何悦教学内容:六年级Unit 3 Where did you go ? B. Lets talk设计理念:本单元学习的主题是谈论和描述人物在过去做的事情,通过课堂教学,学生能询问并回答假期出游地点,出游方式,和谁一起出游以及都做了哪些事等。能正确运用所学句型描述自己假期,并完成简单的任务。因此,在本课设计中,针对高年级学生的特点,我以利用课文插图培养学生的思维能力为宗旨,以学生为主体,以活动为主线,以任务为中心,结合学生的认知特点与能力,采用插图利用法、合作学习、情境教学和任务型教学等方法,利用课文插图、猜想、自己提问自己找答语、游戏和多媒体课件等图文并茂、灵活多样的教学方式,来充分调动学生各感官的活动。教学目标:1、知识目标:(1).能够听、说、读、写并在情境中运用句子:Where did you go ? I went to _.How did you go there ? I went by _. What did you do ? I _.并能在现实生活中灵活运用。(2)能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解并朗读关于描述过去发生事情的语篇,并恰当运用本课所学核心句型口头描述过去发生的事情。 (3)能够在语境中理解生词beach等。2、能力目标:(1)能够用I went to _. I went there by _. I _.描述自己的假期生活。(2)能够通过看图捕捉关键信息,并能根据相关提示完成听前预测。3、情感目标:(1)激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生语言综合运用水平。(2)培养学生利用图片预测进而培养小学生的思维发展能力。教学重点:1.正确运用Where did you go ? I went to _.How did you go there ? I went by _. What did you do ? I _.与他人进行交流。2.能够听、说、读、写并在情境中运用句子:Where did you go ? I went to _.How did you go there ? I went by _. What did you do ? I _.并能在现实生活中灵活运用。 教学难点:在文中理解生词:beach教学准备:1、录音机2、准备本课的词组卡片。3、多媒体课件教学过程:一、Warm-up and revision1. GreetingT: Hello! Boys and girls! Nice to meet you!Ss: Nice to meet you ,too!T: Are you happy today ? Were you happy last weekend ? Why ? Yes, it was Mothers Day last Sunday. What did you do for your mother ?Ss: I _. 2、Free talkT: Where did you go last weekend ?S1: I went to _.T: How did you go there ?S1: I went by _.T: Who did you go with ?S1: I went with _.T: What did you do there ?S1: I _.T: Did you _? S1: Yes,No,_.T:I think all of you had a happy weekend.设计意图:通过母亲节复习过去时态的句型,为学习新授内容做好准备。又通过说说都为妈妈做了什么进而教育孩子们要爱父母,为父母做一些力所能及的事情。二、PresentationStep1: Lets try1. T:Look ! Who is coming today ?(CAI出示课文插图) Yes , Sarah , Amy and Wu Yifan are coming today. What are they talking about ? Can you guess ?Students guess what they are talking about .Listen to the tape and find out what they are talking about.T: Yes, they are talking about Sarahs holiday.(Put the word card “holiday” on the blackboard. ) Do you want to know something about Sarahs holiday ? Can you ask some questions about Sarahs holiday ?Students asks some questions about her holiday. They may ask : Where did she go ? Who did she go with ? How did she go there ? What did she do ? (Put the question words on the blackboard.)Listen to the tape again, find out the answers to the students questions.Show another question : Who did Sarah buy gifts for ? Students choose A or B.设计意图:通过课文插图让学生对本课内容进行猜测想象,自己提出想要解答的问题,然后通过Lets try听力对Sarah的假期有了初步的了解,也为下文Lets talk 的学习做了铺垫,锻炼了学生利用课文插图进行思考想象,并通过听力加以验证的能力。Step2: Lets talk1. T: Sarah went to Hangzhou over her winter holiday. What about Amy ? Look ! There are some pictures from Amys holiday. (CAI出示课文对话中的插图) What do you know from these pictures?Students first discuss in groups, then say something about the pictures.2. T: Lets watch the video and catch more information. Well see who is the best.Students say more about Amys holiday. Then repeat the questions and theanswers. Students guess the meaning of “beach”.设计意图:根据文中图片让学生学会看图捕捉关键信息,并通过看听捕捉更多信息,有利于学生动脑思考能力的提高。让学生们开动脑筋把所想知道的问题提出来,充分利用课本插图锻炼学生们的思维能力,也锻炼了学生说的能力,让学生有问题能表达,会表达。三、PracticeStep1. ListeningListen and repeat. Then practise in pairs and act it out.设计意图:通过听音跟读练习并展示,纠正学生的语音,语调,培养学生的朗读技巧,提高学生的朗读能力,有助于学生有感情的与人交流。Step2:Students look at the blackboard and say something about Amys holiday.设计意图:这是一步知识的提取过程,培养他们根据重点信息提炼文本内容的能力,进一步巩固文本内容,也锻炼学生根据信息流利表达的能力。四、Consolidation and extension.1.Show some pictures of the teachers holiday . Students ask teacher some questions about the holiday. Then they ask and answer in pairs about their own pictures. Then a
