Its + 方位介词短语+ 参照物.2要求掌握以下词汇: in front of; next to; across from; behind Difficulties(难点):1. 用where询问物体的方位。2. 熟练运用表示方位的介词。Teaching steps (教学步骤)Lead in: T: Good morning,everyone! How are you? Yesterday, we start our Unit 8. Today we are going to learn this unit. Before this lesson, lets sing a song first.【教学设计说明】通过师生共唱一首简单的英语歌曲来导入新课,能够立刻调动学生的参与性,激发学生思维,启动学生学习兴趣的发生。Step 1: ReviewAsk and answer a. T: What did you see in the video? b. T: Great! In this unit, we are going to learn to talk about where things are. Do you still remember some places names we have learned? c. T: What are they? OK. Lets start to talk about some places first. 【教学设计说明】通过复习前一个课时学过的地点名称, 结合图片能够让学生回忆之前所学知识,为新课做好铺垫, 利于学生对新方位介词短语的学习。Step 2: Learn new wordsT: First, please look at the PPT. 1 Look and speak T: Do you know/ Can you tell me where is the cat? 2. Read in groups T: After we learn these new words, lets read it again and again. Then we will P.K.Groups members should read the new words after their leaders. 3. Happy turning T: Now, you must know the words we learned well. Please look carefully, then tell me what did you see.According the pictures that teachers show them, students say the names of these new words. 4. Whats missing?. T: You are so great! But I want to test you. Now, Look at the PPT carefully, then tell me whats missing? 【教学设计说明】结合图片及句子学习单词,能够引起学生的注意,加深他们的理解。之后的三个活动都是围绕着新单词而展开的,目的是为了加深他们的印象,使学生更加熟悉新单词,激发学生的思维,启发学生的学习兴趣。Step 3: Section A 2a 1Look and findT: Please look at the picture in activity 1a. There are some things in it. Do you know what they are? 2Match the sentences T: Would you please match the pictures with the sentences? 3Check the answers T: Lets check the answers together. 4. Whos the lucky dog?
