What are they doing?教学设计西影路小学 周卫华教材分析:本课是2017pep版五年级下册第六单元第一课时。在第五单元学习了正在进行时陈述句,一般疑问句的基础上,练习特殊疑问句及答语,继续巩固正在进行时的用法,从而将所学知识与生活实际联系起来,进一步提升学生的口语交际能力。学情分析:学生在之前的学习中积累了许多动词短语,知道一般现在时的表达方式,会简单描述自己的周末活动。在平时生活学习中接触到了正在进行时,但是对于语法概念不是很清晰,系动词,物主代词还有混淆现象,这些模糊印象,导致部分同学怕出错而不敢开口。教学目标:1.理解对话内容,能正确地听,说,读,写“What are they doing?Theyre eating lunch. Whats the little monkey doing? Its playing with its mother.”2.了解正在进行时特殊疑问句的句式,能在实际生活中,正确使用正在进行时进行简单交际。教学重难点:理解对话内容,能在实际生活中,正确使用正在进行时进行简单交际。教具准备:课件,有关人物,动物的图片。教学过程:StepI Warm-up. 1. Greetings.2. Lets chant.Every weekend I climb mountains.3. Free talk. T: What do you do on the weekend? Ss: I often go hiking. I sometimes fly kites.T: On Saturdays, I often have a driving class. But Im having an English class now.Lets play games,OK?First, I say, you say.Second, I say,you do.StepII New concepts and practice. 1.Whats the little monkey doing? (1)Look at the picture and try to describe it. Whats this? Is it eating? Is it playing? What is it doing? Its playing with its mother. (2)Read the sentences. Can you make anther questions? Try to answer it. What is the mother monkey doing?Shes playing with its baby.(3)Practice the sentences.Ask and answer in pairs.What is he/she/it doing? He/She/It is playing.The family are picking apples.2.What are they doing? T:Look at the clock.Its 12 oclock.The pandas are hungry.What are they doing? Oh, they are eating lunch.They like bambo. What are ChenJie and Mike doing? They are eating about animals. 3. Lets talk. (1)Look and say. What are the animals doing?The monkeys are playing,the pandas are eating, the elephant is drinking water.(2)Watch the cartoon and try to retell it.(3)Act the dialogue in groups.(4)Recite the dialogue.StepIII Consoladation. 1. Lets go to the zoo and watch anmals.Sing the song “Animals,anomals everywhere”and say something about the animals.2. Show your picture and talk about it with “What is doing? Itsing.”3. Read and finish the passage. StepIV Summary. We have known the sentences like “What are they doing?Theyre eating lunch. Whats the little monkey doing? Its playing with its mother.” We can read and make more sentences. Step V Homework. 1.Talk about the pictures in groups. 2. Make up a new dialogue about your family. -Hi,mum. Im going home. What are you doing? Whats father doing? -Im cooking. Your father is reading a book. 板书设计:Unit6 What are they doing?Whats the little monkey doing? Its playing with its mother.What are they doing?Theyre eating lunch.教学反思:本课是一节对话课,渗透了正在进行时的使用。其中动物名称,动词短语都很简单,学生能通过课前预习自读课文,语音语调自然,朗读比较流畅。根据视频,图片理解对话内容。多数学生通过课堂学习能复述对话内容,能根据
