Does he like? 并能在具体的语境中运用。【教学重点】1.要求学生在学习过程中能结合所给句型替换单词tall, old, handsome,在情景中学习单词,并逐步学会听说读写。2.能正确使用Mr. / Miss. / Mrs.,对西方人的称呼有进一步了解。【教学难点】1.掌握所学新单词。2.运用所学句型询问并能回答描述他人的外貌特征。-What does he look like?-Hes young and handsome.-What does your uncle look like?-Hes short and young.【教学过程】Step 1 Warming up1. Show a picture of some teachers.T: Who is he/she?Ss: Hes / Shes our maths teacher / art teacher / music teacher.2. Learn new words by singing a song.T: Yes, theyre your teachers. Lets say a chant about these teachers, OK?Ss: OK!Tall, tall, tall. Maths teacher is tall.Short, short, short. Art teacher is short.Thin, thin, thin. Music teacher is thin.Handsome, handsome, handsome. They are so handsome!Pretty, pretty, pretty. They are so pretty!通过这样的方式引导学生进入新课的学习,既与实际相结合学习了新单词,又大大提高了学习兴趣。Step 2 Presentation1. T:(多媒体呈现)Look, this is your new Chinese teacher, Mrs. X. Whats she like? Tall, short, thin or?Ss: Shes thin. T: What does he look like? (手指班中任一男学生) Ss: Hes short and strong.2. T: Boys and girls, whos your maths teacher? Ss: Mr. Du. T: What does he look like? Ss: Hes young and handsome.3. T:(多媒体呈现Yao Ming)Whos this man? Ss: Hes Mr. Yao. T: What does he look like? Ss: Hes tall. T: Yes. But I think hes strong, too.4. Lets practice(1)看Lets Practice的教学内容,浏览,了解大意和要求。(2)两人一组,仿照图片内容进行对话练习。 -What does your art teacher look like? -Hes short and thin -Does he love sports? -No, he doesnt. But he loves music. -Is he good at football? -No, he isnt. But he is good at drawing.Step 3 Practice1. 完成Look, read and match部分的练习。T: Look, there are six people.
