Teach activities1a (1) Tell students to read the shows in the box. Make sure they know the meaning of the shows. (2) Ask students to match the TV shows with the picturesa-g. (3) Check the correct answers. Answers: 1. e 2. d 3. b 4. c 5. a 6. g 7. f 2. Teach activities1b (1) Ask students to read the four names of the TV shows and make sure they understand the meanings. (2) Play the recording for the students to listen and number the shows1-4. (3) Play the recording again and check the answers with the students.3. Teach activities1c (1) Let students look at the pictures in the box. Then explain the meaning of each expression to the students. (2) Let students read the conversation after the teacher. Then let the students make their own conversation using the shows and expressions in the box. (3) Invite several pairs to act out their conversations.Step 3: Practice1. Teach activities2a (1) Ask students to read the shows in the box of 2a. Tell the students to remember the information. (2) Play the recording for the students to listen and number the TV shows 1-5.
