Unit 1 Whats the matter? section A 1a-1c 教学设计 席青 一、学情分析 八年级学生处于一个非常重要阶段,当然这一阶段的学生非常叛逆,有自己的想法也比较喜欢个性化。所任班级的大多数学生都比较听话、比较努力,但依然有少部分学生,由于基础不好及懒惰原因,对英语提不起兴趣。因此有两极分化的这种情况。结合实际,在教学设计上注意分层教育、因材施教、面向全体,调动学生的学习积极性,尽量让每个学生都参与教学中。二、教材分析 人教版八年级英语下册第一单元Whats the matter?话题是健康与急救,主要学习有关伤病及处理建议的表达方式。Section A 侧重于学习身体部位名词及询问某人怎么啦,引出健康问题,借此学习训练相关句型。通过对话训练学生听力部分,培养英语听说部分,继而小组讨论并作对话练习巩固。最后提出人与人之间要互助互爱,互相帮助,关心他人,得到情感升华。三、Teaching aims1. Knowledge Objects:(1) Let Ss keep these words in mind : head, ear, eye, mouth, nose, throat , neck, back, hand, arm, leg, tooth-teeth, foot-feet , matter, have a cold, stomachache, backache, headache, toothache.(2)Let Ss use the sentences to express their idea :Whats the matter? I have a stomachache. I have a sore back. I have a cold. He/She has a sore throat.2. Ability Object:Enable students to talk about health problems using target language.3. Emotion Object:Enable students to talk about the health problems and look after themselves and others.四、Teaching Key Points(1) The important words and sentences.(2) Ask some question about health,use have /has to talk about health problems. 5、 Teaching Difficult PointsAsk some question about health to Ss, use have /has to talk about health problems. Enable to express own idea by the knowledge today we have learned.六、Teaching methods任务型教学法、直观演示法、TPR教学法、播放音乐1. Discussion methods to make the Ss understand what theyve learned in class.2. Pair work of group to get every student to take part in the teaching-and-learning activities.七、Teaching proceduresStep1. Lead-in T: we know our classmate Pan mingjie had a sore foot last week, and if you are curious about it, may be you should ask what question? You can tell me in chinese.S: 你怎么了?T: Good , today we are going to learn unit 1, whats the matter?Before the class, play a song to Ss, and let them write the words about parts of body. The song is If you are happy.(If youre happy and you know it, clap your hands.) (设计意图:这首歌比较轻快,也是大家耳熟能详的歌曲,学生可以跟着歌曲拍拍手、跺跺脚、点点头等等,通过歌曲提起学生浓烈的兴趣,并写下一些简单关于身体的词汇,为下面引出身体各部位名称的教学作铺垫。)Step 2 Word study 1. Learning the words of parts of the bodyCheck the words they wrote down. (hand, foot, head) Next let Ss look at me and I will point to my each part of body. Let them tell me in English . Then we can learn some words, such as arm, back, ear, eye, leg, mouth, neck , nose, stomach, tooth.(设计意图:结合自身的身体部位问学生有关单词激发学生的兴趣,有利于单词的巩固记忆。)2. Memory game.There are three minutes for Ss to keep these words in mind. Then ask Ss close their eyes and remember the words we have wrote. And T speak English ,they speak Chinese . Also we can change the role.(设计意图:以游戏的形式检查学生记忆单词情况,调动学生学习积极性)Step 3 Practice Turn to page 1and look at the picture. Write the correct letter a-m for each part of the body. Then check the answer and let them read aloud.Step 4 Presentation (show PPT) 1. T pretends to cough and ask Ss a question, T : Whats wrong with me? S: You have a cold! T: Yeah , things like todays weather is so fine and I just wear a dress. In fact the temperature is not high, so I cough a lot.2. Show some picture on the screen and let Ss tell me what happened. T: whats the matter with him/her? S: He has a fever./ She has a cold. T: So look at these sentences, we can find the express of illness, the structure is 主语+have/has+the names of illness, are you clear? S:Yes, we are.3. According to this way, we also find out the other structures of illness. For example,主语+have/has+a+sore+发病部位 sore 是一个独立的形容词,指的是身体某一部位的酸痛。如:sore back, sore throat, sore neck.主语+have/has+a+部位-ache -ache作后缀,常与表示身体部位的名词合成一个新词,表身体某部位疼痛,如:toothache , headache , stomachache .(设计意图:通过观看图片,举出某人哪儿不舒服的例子,让学生从中发现规矩,找出表达方式的结构)Step 5 Listening to the tape carefullyLet Ss pay attention to the name of five people. Listen and look at the picture. Then number the names 1-5Listen to these conversations again Check their answers and correct them.(设计意图:让学生掌握听力技巧,听之前先浏览听力材料,弄清楚听力目标是什么,便于听力更好进行)Step 6 Make a dialogue with partner and have a discussionAsk the healthy problem of somebody and give some advice to him.For example:A: whats the matter with you?B: I talked too much yesterday yesterday and didnt drink enough water. I have a sore throat now.A: Maybe you should go to the doctor.B: Thank you!Work in pairs to discuss what people should do when they have a cold,then ask some students to show their ideas,then show the right ways to do help others.(设计意图:以对话形式练习口语)Nest, show a video to student and let them share their feelings.We know the disabled never give up their dream and we also study hard, our dream will come true one day.(情感升华,鼓励学生好好学习。)Step 7 Exercises 1. 背痛_ 2. 感冒_3. 头痛_Step 8 SummaryLet a student tell us what we have learned today and have a summary.S: Today we learned some new words and phrases. Like about each part of body,hand, foot,head and so on. We also knew the express to the problem of health and the structures about it. The important thing is that we should care for other(设计意图:锻炼学生口语以及语言表达能力,贯穿新课标上课以教师为导向,学生为主体原则)Step 9 Homew
