In our life, different counties have different diet style so have different diet. This report from the diet, dietary content, diet, cooking, and the banquet ceremony and other aspects of analysis, help to deeply understand the difference between Chinese and Western cultures, cross cultural communication barriers, but also train people in cross-cultural communication when ability to adapt effectively to prevent communication between the two sides because of cultural misunderstanding led to further exchanges of culture, complementary and compatible.窗体底端1. It also tells us more knowledge about different diet between China and UK. The purpose of the report is to research style, attitudes, objects, the reason and the culture about different diet between UK and China. I will introduce the history diets of each county. They all think diet is the most important thing in our life. China has the old history and many treasure culture about diet. 2. Different attitudes of diet2.1 Pan-food doctrine VS eat doctrinel In china, diet already grows on a high level. They always ask each other did you eat? when they meet. They prepare foods and eat every day. The attitudes of people regard food as their prime want which is called the trend culture of Pan-food doctrine by some scholars in china. In a word, people eat everything what can eat in china. l In UK, foods just as a necessary mean of survival and communication methods. They just use foods to content their needs of their healthy. 2.2. Love ostentation VS simplel In china, if people invite someone to have a dinner party, they attach to foods and wine to be rich. Generally, on a formal dinner dishes must have 7 or 8 dishes which not include before the cold dishes, snacks, desserts and, finally, on the middle of the staple food. More abundant food, the more valuable the more they can reflect the owners hospitality and the identity of the guests, and meals are generally much higher than the host and guests can consume the amount of, or to not display the owners hospitality. l In UK, an abundant dinner just has 6 dishes, which includes 4 small dishes. Formal dinner party is simpler. When they have party, they just apply some drink, wine and some simple foods, such as cheese, French fries and sandwiches, not meals. In a word, their party is not re-eat dinner in the form of liberalization, heavy, diversity; owner must do everything to create a relaxed, harmonious, cheerful atmosphere, so that guests enjoy a carefree good time.3. content of the diet differences3.1.
