Unit 4 Why dont you talk to your parents?Section A (1a-2c)一、教学目标 1. 语言知识目标:1)掌握本课生词、短语及Whats wrong?句式。 2)依据所给信息做有关讨论问题并给出建议的对话。2.能力目标:训练在听的过程中捕捉相关信息的技巧。 3. 情感态度价值观目标: 培养学生良好的合作意识,鼓励学生大胆表达自己的想法和意愿。正确认识生活中的一些困难,能采用正确的方式解决生活中的问题。在学习过程中体会与人沟通以解决问题的重要性。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) Talk about the problems. 2) Learn the new language points. 2. 教学难点:1)能根据对方所提出的问题,给出一些合理的建议。 2)学会表达建议的一些方式。三、教学方法:采用任务型教学法和交际教学法,让学生在课堂上充分发挥主体作用,认真进行口语练习,充分利用多媒体图片和视频来列举生活中常见的问题以激发学生学习的兴趣。四、学情分析本课的内容贴近于学生的日常生活,所以学生一定会非常感兴趣。 对学生们来说掌握本课的内容也将很轻松。 在他们学完本课后将能够应用于自己的实际生活中,能够表达他们所面临的一些问题以及如何解决这些问题。 五、教学过程Step 1 Warming up导入 Watch the video ,and answer the questions.1)Does the girl get on well with her mother?2)Whats the matter with the girl?The girl has some problems. These problems are normal in life. When we meet the problems, what should we do? This lesson, we ll talk about the problems and how to get some advice from others.Step2 New wordPlease read the problems in1a,and find the words you dont know. I have to study too much so I dont get enough sleep. I have too much homework so I dont have any free time to do things I like. My parents dont allow me to hang out with my friends. I have too many after-school classes. I got into a fight with my best friend.allow v. 允许;准许1) allow sb. to do sth. 允许某人做某事2) allow doing sth.允许做某事3) be allowed to do sth被允许做某事Step 3 Talking Look at these problems. Do you think they are serious or not? Ss discuss with their partners and give some advice.Step 4 Listening Tell Ss to read the sentences in 1a again. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the problems you hear in 1a. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the Ss. Step 5 Pair work 1. Let Ss read the conversation in the box. 2. Use the information in 1a to make other conversations. 3. Let some pairs act out their conversations. Step 6 Listening (2a,2b) Work on 2a: Peter has some problems. What advice does his friend give him? Fill in the blanks with could or should. 1. Let Ss read the sentences in 2a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and write the words in the blank. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Work on 2b: 1. Let Ss read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. Make sure they know the meaning of each sentence. 2. Play the recording for the Ss to write the letters (a-e) next to the advice in 2a. 3. Play the recording again to check the answers. Answers: 1. d 2. e 3. a 4. c 5. b Step 7 Pair work (2c) 1. Tell Ss to make a conversation using the information in 2a and 2b. 2. Let one pair to read out their conversation first. 3. e.g. A: Whats the matter, Peter? B: I had a fight with my best friend. What should I do? A: Well, you should call him so that you can say youre sorry. B: But I dont want to talk about it on the phone. 4. Ss act the conversation in pairs. Ask some pairs to act out their conversations.
