Unit 3 How do you get to school?Section A (1a-1c)【教学内容分析】本节课为本单元的第一课时,主要是让学生掌握和运用本课的重点单词和句型,提高听说能力。本单元话题为How do you get to school?话题涉及学生上学的交通方式,贴近学生的日常生活,容易激发学生的学习兴趣。要求学生结合生活实际,用用所学语言项目“How do you get to school?” “I walk.” How does she get to school?She takes the subway. 这样的句型进行实际交流。新教材重视以人为本,学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。【学情分析】对于七年级的学生来说,他们在经过七年级上个学期的英语学习后,已具有了一定的英语基础知识,基本掌握了听、说、读、写能力,同时也具备一些运用语言知识的能力。在这样的基础上,学生对于讨论跟他们生活息息相关的内容,会很容易产生兴趣。【教学目标】1.知识目标:1).Function: Talk about how to get to place2).Key words: get to ,train ,bus, subway, ride, bike, walk.3).Target language: - How do you get to school? - I ride my bike.- How does Mary get to school? - She takes the subway.2.能力目标:1). Through this class, students can know how to use the structures in proper situation.2).Students can talk how to get to places with others.3.情感目标:Students can realize that learning English not only for examination but for communicating in real life.【教学重点】1).Key words and target language.2).Method of taking transportation【教学难点】Students can know how to express all kinds of transportations and use the structures in proper situation.【教学策略设计】教学设计力求活用教学方法,全方位、多角度、多层次调动学生的主动性、积极性、由点到面、循序渐进、环环相扣,让学生在轻松、活跃的气氛中得到听说技能的培养及提高。利用一短视频导入新课,引起学生兴趣。通过教授新知识,设计了游戏,小组对话,听力练习,及调查报告等一系列活动使他们掌握了重难点内容,也培养了学生的听说能力。【教学用具】PPT,录音机,多媒体。【教学流程图】1. Show some pictures about different transportations. Teach the new words 、phrases ,and lead in the sentences: How do you get to school? Then help them to answer.2.work on 1a1).Let students complete the task of 1a, match the words with the pictures.2). Check the answers.1. Read the new words and answer the question: I take the bus/walk to school.2. Finish 1a.Then read the phrases carefully.引导学生学习生词与句型,激发学习热情。Step 3Practice(10 mins)Work on 1c-How do you get to school?-Ito school.-How does B get to school?-He/She walks/ takesto school.1. Show pictures and ask students to play guessing games How do you get to school?2. Ask S1 how you get to school, then ask S2 how does S1 get to school. Ask some students in the same way. Then ask them to do the group work. Finally invite some groups to show their conversations.1. Look at the pictures and guess the ways of transportation. 2. Make conversations (four students a group)A: How do you get to school?B: Ito school.C: How does B get to school?D: He / She walks/ takesto school.结对活动中,学生从第一人称到第三人称的转变,过程中让学生注意倾听别人的对话,再以第三人称来提问,这样可以无意识的养成倾听的好习惯。同时也操练了今天所学的语言知识点。Step 4Listening(5 mins)Learn 1b1. Work on 1b.Play the tape for twice.1).Play the tape for first time, listen to the material carefully and finish the 1b.2).In the second time, check the answers.1.Listen the first time and write the numbers next to the correct students in the picture2. Listen the section time, and check the answers.训练学生抓住关键信息,练习在听力过程中寻找关键词,引导学生在听的过程中快速获取关键信息。Step 5 Expansion&Consolidation(12 mins)Expand another way of transportation and consolidate the language points.1. Ask them to look at the pictures and fill in the blanks.He to the Bus Stop.He to the next stop.He to school.2. Ask students to say out the same sentences.(two expressions of transportation ). Help them to answer. 3.Make a survey1).Ask students to make a survey: How do your classmates get to school?2).A few minutes will be given and when time is up. Some students will be invited to make a report.1. Fill in the blanks by Themselves.2. Say out the same sentences.1).He rides a bike to the Bus Stop.=He goes to the Bus Stop by bike.2).He takes the bus to the next stop.=He goes to the next stop by bus.3).He walks to school.=He goes to school on foot.3. Survey another two classmates and give a report like this: In our group, I take a bus to school. 1.拓展了交通方式的表达法。“take the +交通工具” 的用法与“by+交通工具”。2.创设真实语言环境,提高学生表达能力,巩固了所学知识。同时让学生实践目标语言,达到学以致用的目的。Step 6Summary( 2 mins)1.
