Brief introduction of translation（Times new roman 四号 加粗）Before we discuss how to improve translation skills, we should know what translation is and what translation theory is. Translation means to turn something written or spoken from one language to another in the dictionary（Times new roman 小四 ）2. The process of translation （Times new roman 四号 加粗）In my opinion, translating procedure is operational. It begins with choosing a method of approach. Secondly, when we are translating, we translate with four levels more or less consciously in mind: (1) the SL text level, the level of language, where we begin and which we continually go back to; (2) the referential level, the level of objects and events, real and imaginary, which we progressively have to visualize and build up, and which is an essential part, first of the comprehension, then of the reproduction process; (3) the cohesive level, which is more general, which traces. （Times new roman 小四）3. Problems and propositions （Times new roman 四号 加粗）3.1 Let us look first at practical problems. The translators first task is to understand the text, often to analyse, or make some generalizations about his text before he selects an appropriate translation method. First, the intention of a text. An article on personnel management of multinational companies, written in innocuous internationalese, phrases such as show that the writer is concealing his propaganda purpose behind a mass of statistics and facts about multinational companies.
