(6)The main problem with TV has been its effect on young people. (7)They are now so used to getting their information and education and entertainment from television that their literacy as well as physical ability has greatly been weakened. (8)Worse than all, rubbishy commercials and harmful programs lead to bad tastes and a distorted viewpoint towards human life, and even poison ones mind, contributing to the rise in violence and crime in the street.(9)In any case, whether the ultimate effect of TV is good or not, one thing is certain that television in itself is neither good nor bad.
