Teaching ProceduresStep 1 Revision and lead-in1. Play the cartoon movie Kung fu Panda to lead in the topic about pandas.2. Review some facts about pandas learnt in last lesson.Step 2 Reading 1. Reading guidance: scanningThis means moving your eyes quickly down the page to find specific information.2. Read after the tape and then try to find the answer to the questions.b). Get students to read the first paragraph together, next leave some time for students to read aloud by themselves and try to remember the key information. When they meet with the language points that they dont understand, they can mark them. Finally, have students finish some tasks related to this part with books closed. c).
