Make records about everything when finishing the project, including the task of each team member, the contents of discussion and so on.3. One of the team members will be asked to present the achievement of his team to the class.4. Ask the teacher for help if students have any questions.Steps1. Study the learning materials and allocate roles among the team members.2. Group discussion. 3. Decide on your ways of entertaining a foreign client.4. Act out the dialogues and simulate the real situation.5. List the dos and donts of entertaining foreign clients.7. Mark grades for other teams and vote for the best team and top performer.Notes1. What are the typical stages of the reception?2. What should we consider when we entertain the foreign visitor?3. Could you list as many examples of table manners and eating etiquette as possible?Various Ways of Entertainment There are many ways to provide acceptable local entertainment for visitors. Typical ideas are arts and cultural events such as theatre, cinema, concerts, exhibitions, famous monuments and buildings, or sports events, such as golf ,tourist trips, excursions, restaurants and bars ,etc. As well as more private corporate hospitality such as parties, receptions, and possibly invitations to someones home -though this is highly culture-dependent and may be more common in the USA, the UK and some parts of Continental Europe than elsewhere.Dinner is usually the most important meal of the day in the West. It is served in the evening. Dinner usually consists of one, two or three courses such as: soup, meat and vegetables, and dessert. But on Sundays or special occasions a more elaborate meal is sometimes prepared at noon or later (when it is called lunch) or in the evening from about 7 p.m. onwards. Sometimes, on formal occasions, family members change their clothes before dinner. There may be a number of different courses served at dinner-the usual order in which they are served is served is an appetizer, soup, fish, meat with vegetables, salad, dessert, cheese and coffee. However, all these courses are not always served on every occasion. One or two courses are more usual.Etiquette in Business Learn how to say , Thank you and Goodbye in every foreign language you will use . Show appreciation for the culture , music , and art of the country you are visiting or the country your guests are from . Dont make comparisons of dietary customs , holidays , religion , and forms of government . Keep in mind that business is more formal in all countries other than the U.S.A Conduct yourself accordingly . Be punctual . Be well groomed . Hand - shaking is very important in Europe . Wait for ladies to extend their hands first . Be courteous and respectful and do nothing that would offend your guests pride .Table Mannersa . Dont wipe your face with a napkin ; use it to wipe your mouth only .b . Dont put too much food into your mouth .c . Dont chew with your mouth open or make loud noises when you eat.d . Women shouldnt leave a lipstick mark on their glass.e . Dont order one of the most expensive things on the menu, and dont order more than two courses unless your host suggests that its all right. Also, dont order a first course if no one else does.f .
