I believe there are some qualities that helped Chris. So I searched in the film The Pursuit of Happyness, and found many qualities he has. To made the answer more reasonable, I combined those qualities with his actions and thoughts. His attitude towards life also included in my thesis. As a result, following qualities are main reason to make him happiness and success: seize the opportunity, good at some area, unremitting, sociability, honest, high efficiency, and love family members. The difference of my article is not developing by the steps in the movie. This is more comprehensive. My results can be used to many people who want to get same achievement. Introduction The Pursuit of Happyness - the title comes from a misspelled schoolhouse mural - has a lot on its mind but mostly this: If America is about the promise of bettering oneself, why does it have to be so freaking hard? Every day, Christ had to work hard from morning till night, but still could hardly make a living. The movie The Pursuit of Happyness was inspired by a true story in 2006, so it means to make happiness knock your door is not impossible. Before long the movie began, TV news showed that whole America was in economic downturn. That means not only Chris worried about financial crisis. But he is the only person who agented the portable bone-density scanner. It means that Chris used to have a mount of money. With the failure of his business, Christ had no money to pay for the rent, so they were driven away from the flat. They became homeless. They slept in asylum, subway station public bathroom or anywhere as a temporary shelter. With his great efforts, Christ won a six-month internship at Dean Witter, thats the time he found something to improve in. its important to a man. Throughout the film, Chris showed many of his qualities to audience. This film can give people hope, so it is necessary to study every detail in it. To this film, many researchers hold following viewpoint: this movie encouraged many people to fight for their life; Chriss love to his son is moving, we can be success if we make effort, etc. But people seldom mentioned reasons why Chris could success. So Im going to show some precious personality in my article. Thats my purpose. In this article, I will list every quality one by one and give support to them. And then, show you the result I got. May it can help you.II. Why could Chris got happiness and lead to success2.1 Be good at seize the opportunityChris seizes every opportunity to be out of the trouble. By accident, he knew that stockbroker could earn a lot of money from a man. He believed that man who said a stockbroker only have to good with numbers and good with people. He thought it might be a good opportunity, so he went to find the manager next day. In order to have a chance to talk to Jay Twistle, he got on the same taxi to Noe Valley, which was not his distance. He cherished chance, so he can get benefit from it. There are many chances in our daily life. Maybe one of them can totally change our life. Catch the chances, because they are from God.2.2 Got a talent in mathChris said to his wife that he could go through a math book in a week. We dont know if its true or not. But he showed his talent in math when he on a taxi with Jay Twistle. He finished the puzzle measuring in some minutes, which used 30 minutes to finish by a mathematic professor. When he heard from Jay Twisle, he quickly remembered the telephone number which means a lot to him. Those things show that Chriss amazing math talent and good memory. It doesnt mean that you should good at math if you want to success. If you want others notice your value, at least, you should be good at something. Thats of importance.2.3 He keeps his resolveChris always keeps his resolve, and never give up. Although Chris was a poor man, he never gave up looking after Christopher. He still kept on selling his portable bone-density scanner after he found it is hard to sell one in a mouth. Whats more, when he first got into the working place, everyone seems not happy any more. They were busy working in a mass. That means this job is not easy to hold. There might be many difficulties. But Chris still chose to take the course. It stills a necessary quality to be success.2.4 He is humorous and sociabilityWhen he was face with managers in Dean Witter, he was humorously answered the chairmans question, and he got the chance. During the interview, he had an excellent behavior. Actually, he got along well with Mr. Ribbon. He met and made many friends during he watched the ball game. Also, he got 31 people from Pacific Bell. That means he is a sociability man. We can infer from that to be good at communicate with others is also a important talent. We will use it to friends or strangers. We can use it in team work and so on.2.5 He is honestWhen asked why wearing in a mass to join the interview, someone would tell a lie to those managers. But Chris admitted he wants to tell a lie, but he couldnt come up any reason. He admitted that he just came out of prison. Maybe he would be refused for this thing, but he improved managers. Therefore, to be honest is a basic quality in our work. It let others trust you. Whether if he is a colleague or a leader. 2.6 Know how to improve work efficiencyChris knows how to improve efficiency both in work and life. In his work, he made many ways to save time. Such as hanging phone all the time and never drink. He wanted to finish his work in 6 hours while other people would use 9 hours. And it deed saved his time. In his life, he always runs to a place like Forrest Gump. He did his things in deep night, so that they wont use day time. He also made full use of tools like light in corridor. His working ability like that really shows his value to any company. We need that thought: to finish more work in same time.2.7 He loves his familyHe loves his family so he has faith to work without stopping. He want his son could be a man, so he told him the key words in this movie. “Dont ever let somebody tell you that you cant do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People cant do something themselves, they want to tell you that you cant do it. If you want something, go get it.” He love his son, so he bought a snack as soon as he got money. He didnt want his son get bad language, so he suggests cleaning “Fuck” up. He didnt his son get hurt, so he want Zhu to clock the dog on second floor. Love can give inner energy to a man.
