Teaching key points and difficult pointsTeaching key points: Enable students master two reading skills: skimming and scanning.Teaching difficult points: Enable students get to know different teachers teaching styles and make a description.III. Teaching procedureStep 1 Introduction (10min)T: Good morning, class. Since you have been in Lvshun Senior High for more than two weeks, you must have met a lot of new teachers and new classmates. Now lets think about some words to describe them in group.Activity 1: BrainstormingT: You should come up with some adjectives to describe people and write your answers on the handout first and then write them on the white board. Dont forget to divide the words into two kinds.T: You have all done a great job. But how can we find the main idea of a passage when it comes to reading comprehension?
