五年级英语教学设计 Unit11 Chinese festivals Unit 11 Chinese festivals单元教学建议:本单元的话题是中国的传统节日。教师可结合五上Christmas引入,课前可要求学生搜集一些关于中国的传统节日的信息,包括日期、食物和风俗习惯等,为课堂教学做准备。本单元的词汇除了节日名词和食物之外,还包括十二个月份,教师可帮助学生复习季节类和星期类的词汇。为了方便教学和操练,师生可准备日历本。本单元的句型有两个,都是一般现在时态,一个是用来表达节日的日期,一个是用来描述人们在不同节日里的常见活动和庆祝方式。教学目标:1.能听懂、会说、会读单词 spring festival, mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival, the double ninth festival, rice cake, dumpling等。2.能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词 January, February, May, June, September, October等。3.能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型 The spring festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings at this festival.4.能知道字母th在单词中的读音。教学重难点:1.句型:The spring festival is in January or February. People eat dumplings at this festival.2.语音:字母组合th在单词中的读音。教学过程(一)热身活动 准备学习 Greetings课前师生问好 Sing a song利用带有动画的配乐伴奏 Free talk简单的日常对话T: Hello, boys and girls.Ss: Hello.T: Today is a sunny day, isnt it? Ss: Yes, it is.T: What a beautiful day! Lets sing a song, O.K.?Ss: O.K.(二)布置任务 准备学习 Review对前几节课所学知识进行简单的复习 Free talk and play games通过对话和猜礼物游戏,向学生布置本节课的学习任务T: My friend gave me a present just now. Now here is it. But its in the box. Who can help me guess whats in the box?T: Lets ask together, O.K.?Ss: Whats in the box? Whats in the box?S1: S2: T: Whos right? Lets open it and see.Ss: Open it and see. Open it and see.T: Wow, its a note. There are some words on it. Who can help me to read it?S3: Where there is a will, there is a way.T: Its a good advice for both you and me.(三)参与任务 学习新知 学生根据自己的意愿,参照网络中提供的各种相关节日的资源,了解各节日的来历与风俗。 T: I also prepare some presents for you. They are in the box, too. You can guess. If your answer is right, you can get the present. Each present I give you three times to guess. (四)完成任务 巩固新知 学生以小组的形式汇报表演自编的短剧,教师给予恰当的指导和评价。T: Now please look at here. These are my presents. One is my good friend gave me on Christmas day last year. Another one is a friend gave me on Valentines Day. Do you know why they choose these presents for me on those special days? You can get the answer by the computer. (五)生生互动 交流拓展 学生运用所学知识,相互调查最喜欢的节日,以及介绍节日来历和风俗,完成电子表格。 T: There is some information about other festivals. Choose which one you interested in, and read it carefully. Then make a small dialog with your friend that happens in these special days. Please pay attention, dont forget to choose the correct presents for each festival.
