阿里巴巴和四十大盗scene 1旁白：In a town in Persia there are two brothers, one named Cassim, the other Ali Baba. Cassim was married to a rich wife and lived in plenty, while Ali Baba had to maintain his wife and children by cutting wood in a neighboring forest and selling it in the town.And one day（轻快的bgm响起，阿里巴巴上场，假装砍柴。）阿里巴巴：Whats that? Are they robbers? Oh, no! Id better climb into a tree!（说着爬上旁边的树。强盗们上场，bgm停。）强盗首领：（走到阿里巴巴藏身那棵树下面，对着石头说）Open, Sesame!（黑衣人把门打开，强盗走进去，门自动关上）旁白：They stayed some time inside, and Ali Baba, fearing they might come out and catch him, was forced to sit patiently in the tree. （门打开，强盗出来。）强盗首领：Shut, Sesame!（黑衣人关门。强盗走远，阿里巴巴下来。）阿里巴巴：（对着门）Open, Sesame!（门打开，阿里巴巴进去）旁白：Ali Baba was greatly surprised to find it large and well lighted, hollowed by the hand of man in the form of a vault, which received the light from an opening in the ceiling. He saw rich bales of merchandise - silk, stuff-brocades, all piled together, and gold and silver in heaps, and money in leather purses. He went in and the door shut behind him. （装上几袋金币，离开。）阿里巴巴：Shut, Sesame!（门关上）scene 2（阿里巴巴回到家，场景变。）（阿里巴巴把金币摆到妻子面前）阿里巴巴妻子：（生气）What did you do! How did you get them?旁白：Ali Baba explain to his wife .阿里巴巴妻子：(惊喜万分，把金币倒出来) Let me first measure it, I will go borrow a measure of someone, while you dig the hole.（去找隔壁嫂嫂借量具，然后拿回来。）（两人边量边把金币埋在土地下）（完毕，将量具还给嫂嫂。）旁白： She then carried it back to her sister, without noticing that a piece of gold was sticking to it, which Cassims wife perceived directly her back was turned.（场景转到隔壁，戈西母回来）戈西母妻子：Cassim, your brother is richer than you. He does not count his money, he measures it.戈西母：Thats impossible!（戈西母妻子展示量具底下的金币，戈西母大吃一惊。）戈西母：I must go and ask.scene 3 （戈西母来找阿里巴巴）戈西母：（气势汹汹）Ali Baba ！you pretend to be poor and yet you measure gold.（展示那枚金币）旁白：By this Ali Baba perceived that through his wifes folly Cassim and his wife knew their secret, so he confessed all and offered Cassim a share.戈西母：（色厉内荏）That I expect, but I must know where to find the treasure, otherwise I will discover all, and you will lose all.（阿里巴巴解释）旁白：Ali Baba, more out of kindness than fear, told him of the cave, and the very words to use. Cassim left Ali Baba, meaning to be beforehand with him and get the treasure for himself. He rose early next morning, and set out with ten mules loaded with great chests. He soon found the place, and the door in the rock.（戈西母来到那个洞穴面前）戈西母：（得意的笑着）Open, Sesame！（走进洞穴打包了几乎所有都财宝，出来时却忘记了开门的咒语）戈西母：Open, Barley!（没动静）戈西母：Open wheat!戈西母：Open soybean!（气急败坏）（强盗回来了，紧急的bgm响起）强盗首领：Open, Sesame!（门打开，发现了戈西母）强盗首领：Who are you! Kill him!（几个强盗杀死了戈西母，并把他的尸体分尸。）（做好这一切后，离开。bgm停）scene 4戈西母妻子：Please! Ali Baba! Your brother hasnt come back since yesterday！阿里巴巴：Im going to find him.（慷慨激昂bgm起）（阿里巴巴找到兄长的尸体，bgm停）旁白：Full of horror, he put the body on one of his asses, and bags of gold on the other two, and, covering all with some fagots, returned home. He drove the two asses laden with gold into his own yard, and led the other to Cassims house. （阿里巴巴带着尸体去敲戈西母的家，女仆马尔基娜开门）阿里巴巴：This is the body of your master, who has been murdered, but whom we must bury as though he had died in his bed. I will speak with you again, but now tell your mistress I am come.（戈西母妻子哭泣）scene 5（马尔基娜带着面纱来到裁缝店）马尔基娜：（把一块金币塞到裁缝手里）Would you like to have your eyes covered with a cloth and follow me?裁缝：Enn.马尔基娜：（又塞了一块金币）Please.（裁缝点头，马尔基娜用一块布蒙住裁缝的眼睛把他带到戈西母家里）旁白：she took him to the room where the body lay, pulled off the bandage, and bade him sew the quarters together, after which she covered his eyes again and led him home.（裁缝把戈西母的尸体缝好，马尔基娜用步蒙着眼睛将裁缝带回去了）scene 6（强盗回来，发现金币少了）强盗首领：（走来走去）We are certainly discovered, and shall be undone if we cannot find out who it is that knows our secret. Two men must have known it; we have killed one, we must now find the other. To this end one of you who is bold and artful must go into the city dressed as a traveler, and discover whom we have killed, and whether men talk of the strange manner of his death. If the messenger fails he must lose his life, lest we be betrayed.（强盗们点头）强盗a：Let me to get news.（夜晚，强盗a来到裁缝铺前，假装好奇的问裁缝）强盗a：Honest man, how can you possibly see to stitch at your age?Its too dark!裁缝：（得意洋洋）Old as I am,I have very good eyes, and will you believe me when I tell you that I sewed a dead body together in a place where I had less light than I have now.旁白：The robber was overjoyed at his good fortune, and, giving him a piece of gold, desired to be shown the house where he stitched up the dead body. The robber partly led him, and was partly guided by him, right in front of Cassims house, the door of which the robber marked with a piece of chalk.（强盗给他金币，要他带他去缝尸体的地方，强盗在戈西母门前用白粉笔画了一个记号）（马尔基娜回来，发现门口一个白色的x）马尔基娜：he s up to no good.（于是就在所有门前都画了一个x）（晚上强盗过来后十分吃惊）强盗头领：（愤怒）which one it was！强盗a：（惊恐）I.I.Im not sure.强盗首领：（指着强盗b）You, get the news tomorrow.旁白：Another robber was dispatched, and, having won over Baba Mustapha, marked the house in red chalk; but Morgiana being again too clever for them, the second messenger was put to death also.（强盗b用红粉笔标记了戈西母家，然而马尔基娜用红粉笔标记了每一户）（强盗们又空手而归）强盗首领：I resolve to go myself.旁白：He returned, and ordered his men to go into the neighboring villages and buy nineteen mules, and thirty-eight leather jars, all empty except one, which was full of oil. The Captain put one of his men, fully armed, into each, rubbing the outside of the jars with oil from the full vessel. Then the nineteen mules were loaded with thirty-seven robbers in jars, and the jar of oil, and reached the town by dusk.强盗首领：（对每个人说）As soon as I throw some stones from the window of the chamber where I lie, cut the jars open with your knives and come out, and I will be with you in a trice.Understand?强盗们：Yes!（一起大笑着，bgm诡异阴郁）scene 7强盗首领：（变装来到阿里巴巴门前）I have brought some oil from a distance to sell at tomorrows market, but it is now so late that I know not where to pass the night, unless you will do me the favor to take me in.阿里巴巴：Please come in, the guests from afar.（回头对马尔基娜说）Home to the guests, please give him some food, water, and then make some dinner for the guests, lay a good bed to let him stay overnight.马尔基娜：I see.（马尔基娜去准备，将油桶放到院子里）（回到屋里）马尔基娜：（拿起油灯）There is no oil.（到院子里取油）强盗c：（悄悄的问）Is it time?（马尔基娜吃了一惊）马尔基娜：（压低声音）Not yet, but presently.旁白：She went to all the jars, giving the same answer, till she came to the jar of oil. She now saw that her master, thinking to entertain an oil merchant, had let thirty-eight robbers into his house. She filled her oil pot, went back to the kitchen, and, having lit her lamp, went again to the oil jar and filled a large kettle full of oil. When it boiled she went and poured enough oil into every jar to stifle and kill the robber inside. When this brave deed was done she went back to the kit
